Not sure what you're arguing, but we already know he wasn't expecting visitors and was already in bed, and nobody is even disputing that.

Not sure which case you're claiming is "no questions asked", but it isn't this one. This one he was taken into custody, questioned and later charged with felonies. so there were quite a lot of "questions asked", including of the neighbors who also said it was odd when he heard a car pull up to the elderly neighbor's house late at night.



And here's the crime map of the neighborhood with 3 burglaries, about 20 assaults and about 20 thefts just in the last couple months within about half a mile of where this happened.

I would say the median (another word for average) bedtime in old communities (55 and over) is around 7:30 - 8:00pm. I used to visit my grandma before she passed in her 80s and she went to bed at 8:00 every night like clockwork. Perhaps the reason this old person grabbed a gun BEFORE he went to the door is because it’s fucking late as hell for a feeble old person. You want to point out who has been "Labeling Lester as the face of white supremacist" ITT for me? In his CNN interview his grandson weakly suggested the type of media gramps consumed was radicalizing and fear-inducing and then he resorted to generalities. He's irrelevant but somehow he triggered pages and pages of person attacks, otherwise no one gives a shit about the guy. The subject of race only came up because the DA was asked a direct question and he answered it with "Yes" but that's it. It doesn't change what the shooter has been charged with--according to that same DA what he is charged with carries a greater maximum penalty than their hate crime law anyway. Race may be relevant at trial in terms of establishing malicious intent--if possible--but I haven't seen anyone suggest it's a necessary element of proving the shooter's criminality.

American society is already economically segregated. Trump stole $2 million dollars from a charity with his name on it and he paid a fine. Guess what happens to you if you steal $200 from the local grocery store?
