Why would I have a "meltdown"? I prefer Pence to Trump, so the left can be my guest if they want to put a devout Christian in there instead. Then they get to prove what everyone already knew, that this whole thing is just a tantrum, when they treat Pence just as badly.

More footage following Trump's impeachment when the left realize they just put Pence in office.

Whether or not he gets actual blow-back from the Mueller investigation is wholly dependent on who controls the house after the mid-terms. If the Republicans keep control then they can probably obstruct the investigation enough to prevent it from taking Trump out. There's no way he gets impeached. He'll resign way before that happens. If the Republicans suffer massive defeats in the mid-terms, they'll start to abandon and turn on Trump to save their own careers.

I have one main problem with this analysis.

Last time Jim Webb ran for President, I don't think Jim Webb's own mother even voted for him. He's way too center-left for the rest of his party. The now openly socialist wing of the Democratic Party will never get behind someone like Jim Webb.
 
He will finish the term, Mueller's report won't clear him, but Mueller won't indict him either. He'll be looking at charges in New York when he's out of office, but he will run again. The next election cycle starts in 6-9 months, only a few months after the new congress sits in 2019. Even if the Democrats win both chambers, and I doubt they will, they're unlikely to push for impeachment once the campaign has started. Maybe they're that dumb, or Trump will be found to have done some truly putrid stuff, but I think they'll wait to threaten impeachment until he's reelected.

I sincerely doubt that

People don't support him for his policies, they support him b/c he's A) the greatest Troll the world has ever seen, and B) he largely DGAF

once he's gone they just move on to something else.....

Did Trump write the thread title?

Serves his term and loses re-election. No charges filed against Trump.
 
He will be reelected.
Nothing until now overcomes his economic numbers.
If he had anything to do with or not.

The economy will save his ass.
 
He will resign... Once dems get control of the house they will issue subpoenas at a rate no one has ever seen (rightfully so) and the constant pressure will be too much for him. His closest allies will revolt because they are beginning to realize that being a Trump ally really means being a criminal or being an ally of a criminal.

He will get charged with numerous counts obstruction of justice, money laundering and tax evasion from the Mueller report and an offer will be made to him, resign or face trial when you leave office. Trump then finally makes 1 right decision in his life and resigns. He goes down as one of the most corrupt and worst presidents in the history and laws are changed to make sure we never get a president as incompetent as him again.

I am speaking from the assumption that Webb would get to the general election. I agree with you. Dems are going to have a bloodbath as Warren, Booker and K. Harris all go at it brutally and see who can promise the most free stuff.

Webb actually could out-alpha Trump on a debate stage and has a cross-party record. He'd clean up but that won't happen.
 
Everything that got him elected has been doubled down. Do you guys really expect a different outcome...?

A conspiracy minded person may believe all of this goofy junk is being done purposefully at this point.
