International Qatari air base in Idaho?

the only one deflecting is you

All I said was it’s hypocritical to complain about about having Qatar’s base here when we have our own in their country

And Qatar is no worse an ally than Israel. Unless you think Israel bribing US politicians for favors with US money makes them so.

More deflection from you. Having a county the sponsors terrorism with a training facility on our soil is a national security risk. That is not a deflection that’s a fact.

So it wasn't a national security risk when Bush Sr., Clinton, W. Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden, were working with them militarily over the last 30+ years? Just now?

A state that sponsors terrorism have a military training facility on our soil it is a security risk. I don’t care what President agreed to it.

I hate to break it to you, but US Military supporting terrorists and even dictatorships is incredibly common.

We literally just helped install a fuckin' Al Qaeda head chopper as the head of Syria, after supporting terrorism in that country.

The US is absolutely a bigger offender of supporting terrorism than Qatar, and that is a bi-partisan issue.

Throwing rocks in a glass house.

We have done it in the past so it’s ok? I don’t like that we get involved with countries that sponsor terrorism. I understand it’s big business. It’s also immoral. You can’t complain about terrorism while providing support to countries that facilitate it. Try to be consistent.

I'm not saying we've historically got involved with countries that sponsor terrorism, I'm saying we have directly sponsored terrorism.

There is nothing moral about the US Military Industrial Complex. I'm not supporting anything, just stating facts.

You should be condemning this not running interference for it.

What am I interfering in? LOL... Brain-dead discourse?

You’re the one that quoted my post where I said this is a security risk. You didn’t rebut my comment you just threw out things that were irrelevant to my post.

Yeah, Hamas is going to invade the US. LOL.

I don't have any concerns about security risks training a military we've already been training since 1992.

What do you suggest the actual security risk is? I'm not going to rebut a vague statement.

Are you concerned about the security risk of Israel's influence on our government and media?

Whatabout isreal? Jesus Christ you and the other guy with the deflections.

Yeah the Qatari pilots were supposed to start training last year. Not much has changed except they get their own training facilities.

We don't have to go there, I deleted that tangent but you got this page on rapid re-load.

Can you answer my other question?

I think the risk comes with welcoming a state that sponsors terrorism that likely has actors inside their military that wish to do us harm having their own training facility on US soil. I thought this was quite evident from my previous posts.

But as he mentioned, we've been aligned militarily a long time and trained them for years in addition to along side them.

You’re not going to rebut anything as you have clearly shown. I think the risk comes with welcoming a state that sponsors terrorism that likely has actors inside their military that wish to do us harm having a their own training facility on US soil.
Again, the "sponsors terrorism" claim is pointless, so do we. Do you think Qatar, a massive US ally, is going to smuggle Hamas members into the US to... do what exactly?

Qatar is militarily connected to the US and has been since the 90's. The US literally helped build their military from scratch. Qatar has allyship with the most powerful nation on the planet, they are LEANING INTO THAT, hence the BILLIONS of dollars they are committing to the US.

There isn't any more of a security risk in this than any other partnership the US has with other nations.

And with putting our base in their country we gave them a guarantee of security. I think any concern should be levied at individual pilots if there is one. Qatar itself is not going to do anything to upset this balance.
