Social Qanon Megathread V1

A troll of legendary proportions.

Whoever it is, he clearly understood how many people treat politics essentially as a sport, where the voters become elevated at the sight of their "team" winning.

QAnon delivered those people constant make-believe "wins" even when everything seemed bleak in the news. Rooting for Trump and his constant "winning", took the place of traditional American pastimes like watching football or basketball or whatever, and being the fan of a team or an individual. Even when Trump lost, he was still somehow winning. In QAnon world, he could never lose, and therefore his supporters always had something to root for, something to feel good about.

Probably started as a troll job, but its believers are dead serious about it.

But it's not too far fetched people have bought into it. The belief that the Democrat party is actually a criminal organization has been around for forever. This just seems to be a more fantastical extension of that.

You know, that’s a really good point. My buddy, who is very normal, was telling me his wife is up to 3 in the morning reading all of this stuff and he was telling me some of what she was reading and I couldn’t even wrap my head around it. She can be obsessive about things and I could see that being exacerbated by the lock downs. That’s really what made me want to research this more.

These claims are so bizarre and outlandish that I thought it must be some elaborate joke that suckered a lot of people. I mean, they never have proof, nothing ever materializes, but people just keep believing in what they are saying.
My second question is, how many folks are actually bought into this? Has to be a very vocal, but small group, right?
