Q&A on Thailand

Hahaha. You didn't really miss much. Nikita's, Candy Bar, Jungle Bar was out of hand, Pukky's and then Icon. I left around 4AM and Andria ending up leaving at like 6AM after her purse was stolen by some old bargirl. Worst part about that is her passport was in there (who keeps their passport on them?) and we had to fly out of Bangkok in two days. She was able to get an emergency passport in 24 hours though.

Even worse is the fact that her camera was in there and she had some amazing pictures. She had a video of the "me play joke" bit on there too.

I came back to pukkys at 2am, then went to laguna till 5am.

I sitting at Pukky bar right now. Think I'm doing the tour again tonight. I have a good video of the pee pee coke...

AJ had his wallet taken at Icon that night also. Word has it a group of 4 Thai men took him up to the bar to pay his bill and he returned without his wallet. He was 18 rum and cokes deep by then... Sing was over there having a very serious conversation with the bouncers the other day.

Anyways, you can hire any trainer for extra training outside of training times. The rates are cheap and you will learn more in two weeks than you would in a year of training in the states.

AJ was really, really, really drunk that night -- like unhealthy drunk. He was so drunk and annoying that May made it an effort to avoid him all night. Still, nobody should have their shit stolen like that. Considering the amount of business that place makes of Sinbi students, the bouncers should really be paying a little more attention before word gets out and they only people visiting anymore are bar girls.

I was back at Pukky bar at 2am. AJ did a face plant in front of the bar as I pulled in. I put him on the back of Oi's motorbike and asked her to take him back to the gym. I guess they ended up at Icon... She saw the 4 thai men take him up to the bar, but was scared to say anything. None of the trainers were around and she said she felt scared the Thai men would do something if she said anything.

No one should get that drunk in Thailand. With anything important on their person...lol
I'm walking back to my room to drop off my wallet. Haha.

I'm trying to figure out why you spelled "figure" wrong... but I'll play your game. I wrote in sections because long posts usually get overlooked. I'm just trying to help the guy... good job being a hater

whoa buddy calm down, i was genuinely trying to figure that out. perhaps a trip to the ghinacologist is in order to remove the sand from your vag

Seriously -- leave the wallet at home. You should never take your passport out with you -- that's just common sense. Leave with a little more money than you may anticipate spending and don't get blackout drunk. Pretty simple really.

I'm sure they appreciated the 60 cents equivalent...

Is it good form to give gifts to the trainers at the beginning or end of your time at the gym for say a six month commitment. For instance I heard that they like liquor (say Jack Daniels or Patron), jerseys (nba, nfl), Levis and cigarettes/cigars. Anything else....I did also hear lottery tickets but friend may have been joking.

Also do I give the gift to all the trainers or my main one and the camp head? I want to make a good impression so as to be given more personal/technical training so what tips can y'all give.

In addendum is there anything that people in Thailand like is considered a luxury that is easy to get in America as gifts...besides white girls?

Sinbi's FAQ mentions T-shirts or soccer team shirts, but all I read in these threads is booze. So which is it?

Det is a bit smaller than Pot and was a Rachadamneon champ. He is all about technique and speed. He has very pretty Muay Thai. Here is some video of Det working pads for the Korean fighter Su Jeong.

Hey, that Korean chica's kinda cute. But that might just be because girls get an instant +3 from me when I see them hitting things.

Does anybody here know of any good camps in or around Buriram? I suppose the furthest I'd be be able to travel to is Surin.
I already know the area quite well, but I've never trained there, I kept getting ill. :/
I've had 2 years training over here in the Uk but that's about it.

Any info would be appreciated.

surin and buriram have goods camps everywhere.
they are both loaded with camps.

I always bring t-shirts from my gym for some of the trainers; they seem to appreciate it. I'll also buy them a bottle of whiskey if we're hanging out (they love Johnnie Walker red).

If you're working with the same guy the entire time, yeah, why not give them a tip?
