tell them the better the performance the bigger the tip, then you will see a performance.

LOL. Looks like I've been missing out. If I'm single again then maybe I'll sample the goods.

picking up in clubs and shopping malls in thailand is as easy as picking up in a brothel.
in one mall i got 8 phone numbers in 10 minutes.
it goes like this, "excuse me can i have your number"? "sure, here you go".
and thats that.

keep in mind however,i'm very good looking.lol.
just ask me.

If you are under 30 and not a troll you should be able to find a never ending amount of women who will sleep with you for free. You should be able to find women who will take care of you. In 4 years i have i've never paid. Not because i am too proud, but its way to easy to meet girls.

I'm guessing Paragon Mall? That place is money. Sometimes I drive there just to look at the exotic cars parked in lvl1

I have a question about the pubs in Bangkok. I always wanted to go because I love Guinness beer.

Well, my ignorant question is: What is the scene like? I'm not trying to be the only Thai guy in there. No one I know (and I know a lot of people) has ever stepped foot in those pubs. Oh yeah, I drive too so I'm not trying to waste my time fighting traffic and parking. Yes, I know I'm paranoid.

Should I:
A) Avoid that pub scene because it's lame
B) Shut up and go have a beer

There is no reason why you can't go in one of those pubs. Would you think twice about walking into a pub in NoVA?

I tell my true story of losing face in Thailand. Payak and perhaps Lunch may answer what would have had happened if I had spoke back.

I was at this place. A,B and C were chatting fine together with me. The atmosphere was very cordial.

Then at the end of it, A and b who were the food stall owners were due to collect the payment for the food I ate.

A mentioned a specific sum. I had to tell him to list the price of each food item out to me because I genuinely had not sufficient money for the rest of the week.

This is where the problem begamn. He recalculate in front of us and found a mistake. Hence A 'lost face'.C jumped in, and wittingly or unwittingly, insinuated that I am a miser begger stingy miser.

The whole episode happened very fast. I figured out the whole thing only after I went home.

I thought about the whole thing and found C in the wrong. The reason I had to argue for just a few baht, is because C had asked me for a hundred over baht just 1 day before to drink beer.

I wanted very much to speak back, but the remaining of the week A B C were not together again and there would not have any effect if I were to speak to any of them alone.

Would C have taken revenge against me, if I had went back and caused C to 'lose face', and perhaps the most of it because then he will seem like an ungrateful bas**** who forgets gratitute once the money is in their pocket.

Hey buddy, I’ll answer your question but it’ll be long so I’ll section off my answer in multiple posts. I also want to say that every person is an individual so my answer (and assumption) may not be correct.

Before I begin, I would like to applaud you for being street smart enough to check your restaurant bill. My parents (whom are Thai) don’t even do that, but the rest of my family, my girlfriend, and I do. I think most Thais in general check their bills.

Second, the short version of your story made you seem like a new guy in Thailand. But the full version was well written and explained everything.

The explanation before the answer: Some of the servers in restaurants in Thailand will try to cheat the patron(s) and over charge him (them) in order to receive a higher tip percentage.

Hey buddy, I think the servers tried to hustle you because you’re a farang, but little did they know that you’re not new in Thailand, nor are you a chump. A Thai calling a server out on a false charge on a bill is normal, but you’re not Thai so this will give the server room to back his hustle.

You know they tried to hustle you… but your down fall is the language barrier. You see yourself getting ripped off. The server knows he cheated you but is denying it. The Thais within the area may see a lost and confused farang that doesn’t understand the baht ratio. <-- I say that because police will most likely side with the Thai in this scenario.

My answer: I think the Thai person will not seek revenge against you because you are the victim of a scam. It doesn’t matter that you disrespected him because he ripped you off. You are on the defensive. At the end of the day you were cheated, but you caught it. The person who scammed you knows this so him taking revenge would not make sense. His only course of action would be constant deniability.

thaimuaythai, I hope this kind of helped because I felt like I wrote an essay. I understand your frustration, and at times it's not the amount of money involved but the principle of honor and loyalty. I'm sorry to hear that this happened... and of all places, Thailand.

im trying to fugure out why you used ten posts to say all that
