PWD PWD 1200: Vengeance Day is Coming

@RollSonnenRoll lotta big news in the world of westerns this morning

1. Looks like Kevin Costners gamble might have paid off since Horizon part 1 was the #1 streamed movie on Netflix in January, we'll see what this means for the release of part 2

2. American Primeval season 2 is gonna be a prequel, hopefully that means less Betty Gilpin

3. That Robert Eggers dude a lot of you seem to be fans of is making a western next

4. Ethan Hawke is remaking The Gunfighter, I am interested in that

5. The director of Old Henry has started working on his next western, this one about a rodeo ropin' cowpoke that has to rise and be a hero, I hope they use Amarillo By Morning in an action montage

Also, if you havent seen Old Henry yet you gotta add that one to the queue, it is so frickin dope

Quite a morning for the once classic genre...

I'm glad more good Westerns are coming out. The last Western movie I saw was The Harder They Fall with our dawg Jonathan Majors and Idris Elba.

I wonder if streaming becoming so dominant lately if we're gonna get more cool genre movies like Westerns. It seems like Horror has been getting a really hard push lately, hope Westerns join in also.

I finished 1923. It’s no where near as good as 1883 but I’ve enjoyed it enough that I’m looking forward to season 2 dropping in a couple weeks. I’d be pissed if I watched it in real time cause it ended on all the major plot points in the air. To the point that I didn’t even know it was the finale. I tired to click over to the next episode and thought something was wrong with my app lol

The main villain is played by Timothy Dalton. He only has one confrontation with Harrison Ford in the last scene of season 1. It didn’t hit me for a minute but then I fully marked out cause “holy shit, that’s James Bond and Indiana Jones talking shit to each other!” <lmao>

Ha, they even got one of the wranglers from one of the earlier seasons to be in it. Worker’s work.
“A drama set in the timber industry of Oregon.”
That’s the move now. Take an extremely dangerous blue collar job, mix in some murder and throw in landscape porn. Then cash the checks!

It’s no “adrenaline in my soul”……

They did Nic Nemeth and Matt Cardona's post WWE entrance music also and none of them hit like The Codester's music. They're not terrible and fit both guys, but they definitely peaked with Cody's music.

All the reality shows about tough guy jobs from the early aughts are making a comeback as dramas LoL

Drilling oil is the most dangerous job there is…

Someone should edit the Landman opening to Black Gold <lmao> <lmao><lmao>

I hope they redo one of those long road trucking shows, you can have some modern day Jerry Reed driving his 18 wheeler all over this great nation and solving crimes and disputes at every Pilot Flying J from Stockton to Secaucus

For the special holiday episode he can go to Buc-ees!

Valentine’s Day is the antithesis of my favorite holiday, Halloween. I want to celebrate monsters that want to hurt, torture, and kill. I don’t want to celebrate love. This is truly the worse day of the year.

Just listen to Cupid de Locke by Smashing Pumpkins. You'll be okay
