@RollSonnenRoll Pat McAfee just announced that ESPN is back on DirecTV right now

I'm watching GameDay cause Big Noon Kickoff doesn't start til 7 am, last weekend it started at 6 just like GameDay, these random start times got me all discombobbled
I overslept and missed the entire show<lmao>. Got my coffee just in time for kickoff. Looks like a beautiful day for a game. RTR.

Do they play normal craps or is it that card bullshit?
Out here in California, you roll the dice and whatever number comes up on the dice, they flip over that card from a numbered deck and the two cards they flip is your roll, its so stupid
Yes, it's traditional, thankfully. I remember when we went to a casino outside San Diego excited to play and saw all that card crap. What a gimmick

It was another action packed packed banger, a buncha pale chubby Wisconsonians bouncing up and down to Jump Around at the tailgate party was a sight to behold LoL

ESPN had on Darius Rucker for an acoustic song or two, didnt have quite the same energy

Probably wasnt actually acoustic but it was definitely low energy

Good news, everyone, Starmaker Bolin will settle the debate for us once and for all

@My Spot holy shit, dude, I just found the house show promo that got me to go to my first ever live rasslin matches
They played this very promo on the Saturday morning WWF Superstars tv show and my mom told me to ask my uncle to take me so I called him and he said yes cause he had a crush on Elizabeth
Ahh, sweet memories

We had to look in the phone book to find out where a Bass tickets outlet was and then went and got money from my uncle to go get tickets
We ended up with amazing ringside seats right on the aisle, I though we were super lucky, I didnt realize the fire marshall had to clear the ring set up the morning of the show before they could release the aisle tickets LoL

Wow! I love this promo! Thanks Macho Man!

What an amazing night that I will never forget

@Pliny Pete They ran the Cow Palace 6x that year but only had Hogan once.

Jan 23 1987 - 7500 (no Hogan)
Mar 17 1987 - 6800 (no Hogan)
Jun 09 1987 - 2390 (no Hogan)
Aug 26 1987 - 14,700 (Hogan)
Oct 30 1987 - 6422 (no Hogan)
Dec 05 1987 - 7500 (no Hogan)

Now I'm reading they've had a few shows on this tour that had to end early because Perry got too drunk to perform by the end of it. One show in Europe that Perry was hammered and kept trashing all of the other band members to the crowd throughout the set, the show was apparently so bad the crowd was leaving throughout it.

Perry Ferrell is a 65 year old man acting like a child lol
Even before this incident, I'd seen a few articles in the last week or two mentioning fans being concerned for Perry. I didn't bother reading them because I took it as typical Google click bait recommendations. Pretty sad these issues plague these late 80s/early 90s alt rock guys so late into life when they've put people through so much shit already.

He wasnt on the January card either cause I went to that one also, main event was a battle royal, it was not as good of a show as the December card

They musta used a different set up for non Hogan cards cause those 7,500 shows are listed as sellouts but the Hogan show with 14,700 was a legit sellout

I kinda remember there being bleachers on the floor for the January card because I saw a friend from school at the show and went up and sat with him for awhile but I might be misremembering cause the Cow Palace does use those aluminum risers for the first few rows of bowl seating

Just remember to take the stairs in case of an emergency.
Wanna know a finny storie? My first day I go up to my floor (fourth) by the elevator. Then once I’m up I panick because there’s no way to go down the elesvstor, only stairs. There no down button! I call the tech in the stock room in a panic, and she goes huh /‘enfo and comes up to help me. When she comes up she gives me this loook {<huh} and i say I can’t go down there’s no button to go down and she goes “this is what our buttons look like “ and points to the elevator button that’s right in front of me. It was a normal elevator button I just didn’t see it for some strange reason lmao <suzylol>
