It’s almost as if circumstances changed after that moment, crazy concept I know.

Going by your train of logic, I suppose the Queen of England was a “pro-Putin chud” and “supported the invasion of Ukraine”.

Every leader is self-serving, mistake-prone, and, often, stupid.

Corruption seems to follow most world leaders like stink follows shit, but most of it is either monetary or political or, worst of all, megalomaniacal and autocratic, and yet none are remotely as bad as Putin.

I absolutely detest Donald Trump, his policies, his regime, his legacy, and the way he handles himself - but he's a Saint compared to Vladimir Putin and his insular band of warmongering imperialists.

It’s almost as if leaders of the country people actually live in have a bigger impact on their lives than leaders of other countries.

I’m sure people are going to have more negative animus towards Trudeau, because they have to deal with him in their daily lives. And, this thread was created around the time of the Canadian trucker protests.

A vote for Putin in this poll, is not necessarily a “I love Putin vote”, but could be more of a “I hate Trudeau” vote.

Created, yes, but it was still going for months after the invasion began. Even since I've bumped it, Putin has received 3 extra votes and Trudeau 1. Putin has also been in power for over 20 years. It's not like people just discovered what he was like in 2022.

That's a picture from 2003 and world leaders act cordial towards each other in public appearances. The Queen didn't come on Sherdog and claim she'd rather have Putin be her leader than Trudeau. She also didn't say she supported his invasion of Ukraine. She also allegedly made snide remarks about him after this. Dogs there didn't like Putin and she said something like "Yes, they have very good instincts."

So, here you are agreeing that people can change their opinions of people based on new information.

You are using polling data taken at a time when Trudeau was very unpopular due to the trucker convoy protests and before Putin had invaded Ukraine.

A lot of people were opposed to the vaccine mandates and sympathized with the protestors and condemned Trudeau for his harsh tactics. Putin wasn’t really in the news cycle at around this time as he hadn’t invaded Ukraine until late February.

I can’t speak on behalf of everyone that voted and they have their own reasons for voting how they did. It could be that they love Putin, but it could be that they dislike Trudeau. As Trudeau was probably more prominent in the news cycle at that time and they saw the poll as a way to express their dislike for him.

To use polling data from before a major world event and then present that data after the event to shame and attack people is intellectually dishonest, manipulative and immature on your part.

As a Canadian I'm embarrassed to have that POS as our leader , he is as smart as a bag of hammers but knows enough on how to win elections. He has accumulated as much debt in his time as every other PM in the history of Canada combined and just keeps printing and spending money we dont have. He just spent 100 million on the LBGQt what ever communtity to ensure he has bought those votes and throws money all over the world to be a hero. • No mobilisation.
• No one is sent to fight to Ukr.
• You are allowed to buy/ sell stocks and foreign currency even in cash without restrictions ppl should live under...in Russia..
• No one will put you in prison for phrase " war in ukraine ".
• Canada is country during last maybe 75 years considered as safe for investments. While Russia...is considered lesser trustable than Morocco, Albania, Turkey or India etc....
• Ofc I agree that all countries does have flaws and cons and a lot...However for example the same weapons for casual civilians....Russia is more restrictive than Canada....seriously it isn't joke here....I know...
