Elections Project 2025 major right wing groups plan on creating a new super super pack

The liberal rhetoric around climate change and the environmental regulations that need to be imposed to allegedly thwart it absolutely do play a role in how rural America votes, brother. At least where I'm from -- it's a big deal for the likes of farmers, ranchers, coal miners, and people that work in the oil and gas industry for a living. They see the things going on in other western countries that are ahead of America on this issue. I'm not saying it's the principal driver and did acknowledge god 'n guns, but it's there.
For elites absolutely yeah(there's a joke in Dem circles that owners of car dealerships are the backbone of the GOP base but they're just the urban equivalent of ranchers and oil barons to me) but idk that the average working class servers in diners across those states cares about industrial policy either way.

Of course elites matter a lot so on the donor side of things so its definitely a key priority for the party as a whole. Interestingly the biggest donor to Trump's 2016 and 2020 campaigns were the Adelsons. Sheldon is now dead but Miriam has inherited his fortune and rumor has it she is conditioning her donation to Trump on his recognizing any future annexation of the West Bank by Israel so donors can have all kinds of kooky motivations.

A lot of those diners are pretty awesome, tbh. You need to get out of the South Florida swamps and roll through on a Great American road trip one of these days. You might even find yourself a midwestern sweetheart of beautiful Nordic ancestry to settle down with.

He’s already largely been put above the law. Apparently any POTUS is, although of course not any POTUS will exercise that vast power. Trump clearly is one who will.

It’s not that a specific hire or hires put him above the law and Constitution. The Constitution sets out 3 co-equal branches of government. By having the ability to fire and appoint vast numbers of people in the Executive Branch without congressional oversight or approval, they’re already subverting that. The entire policy plan of Project 2025 consists of accomplishing what used to be legislative goals with unprecedented executive

Whoops NPC’s fall for another MSM talking point

So you disagree with this. All this proves is he is not far right like the left is crying about.

He is a big government republican and the antithesis of a conservative which is what the party and the ideology has become.

I'd really love to explore the rest of the Southeastern US and parts of Southern Appalachia like Georgia and North Carolina. The idea of settling down with some Nordic blonde is appealing though.

Trump doesn’t know anything about them.

Project 2025 enthusiasts and authors take the stage at the RNC tonight – including VP candidate JD Vance, Tom Homan, Peter Navarro, and Ric Grenell,
Project 2025 author Tom Homan, an architect of Trump’s cruel family separation policy, addressed the RNC convention tonight.
Convicted criminal Peter Navarro, another author of Trump’s extreme Project 2025 agenda, also spoke tonight.

Ric Grenell spoke tonight and worked for a Project 2025 advisory board member.

The Advocate: “Grenell will be special adviser for national security and foreign policy at the [Project 2025 advisory board member] American Center for Law and Justice, based in Washington, D.C.”
Closing out the night will be Trump’s VP nominee JD Vance – a Project 2025 enthusiast who has praised the extreme blueprint as having “good ideas.”

Vance: “I’ve reviewed a lot of [Project 2025]. There are some good ideas in there.”

The New Republic: “Project 2025 Leader Is Overjoyed by Trump’s Vice Presidential Pick”

Nick Corasaniti, New York Times: “[Kevin Roberts] reacted to the news [of Vance’s VP selection] ‘with a broad smile on my face’ and said that ‘privately, we were really rooting for him.’”

Gram Slattery, Reuters: “Vance is very close to Heritage and even wrote the forward for a book from the think tank’s president. Project 2025 is of course organized by Heritage.”

It surprises me how little discussion there is of policy groups here, and that when they are raised it's typically in the form of ridiculous conspiracy theories rather than actual policy agendas.

The CTs themselves are hilarious, since I've never understood the sheer intellectual gymnastics involved in latching on to comparatively unsuccessful policy groups like the Fabian Society or Club of Rome as having some dire authoritarian plot under the guise of Agenda 21 or 15 minute cities, while outright ignoring the influence of individuals like Anthony Fisher, The Atlas Network, The Mont Pelerin Society, The State Policy Network, The Heritage foundation etc. Where the direct influence on policy through the '80s and '90s especially was overwhelmingly transparent, with both Thatcher and Reagan openly following their policy direction and pushing it globally with the Washington Consensus. The results of which shape today's landscape.

Aren’t you the astute political observer who asked your friend to explain Project 2025 to you like you were 5, and then when they did a poor job of it you decided there was nothing to see and no reason for you to actually read and think for yourself?

Yeah, makes perfect sense you’d want a stupid Trump vid in the OP:

“Arm we with my talking point immediately so I don’t actually have to think for myself!”—You, basically.

MAGA Republicans be " It's a miracle !!!!!" Having had a small like 4mm branch in my leg when I was 7 I still have scare tissue from it so his ear after having 5.6mm round through 12 days ago it looks like an amazing recovery.

Could you afford a Hollywood makeup artist to cover it up?

Yeah @PEB, you're right. He wasn't shot at all, and the blood was ketchup.

I'd ask you if you know how stupid you sound right now, but that would require you not being stupid.

No one said he wasn't injured just saying it wasn't from a bullet. Fragments or pieces of glass. You have to be a dumb to believe that tip of that round went through his ear an 12 days later no damage? Edit:side note still no official report from the hospital yet show me the report an we will talk .

Are you slow(stupid question, of course you are)? The FBI said it came from a bullet. There's a picture that captured a bullet literally flying past his head after it hit him. You do realize that the bullet didn't actually have to pierce a visible hole in his ear to cause damage right? Like, it probably just skimmed across the top of his ear?

You know what there isn't? Any evidence that the wound came from anything but a bullet. Let it go, Corky bot.

Find a clip of Trump talking about being pro 2025 I’ll wait

Yeah, right wingers known for being totally honest about things they want to do.. and not lie about it to get into power, only to then do a complete 180 once in power...

Remind me again about Trump's corrupt SCOTUS appointments and their opinion on Roe v Wade before and after being confirmed?

Don’t sleep on those Midwest supper clubs.

900 pages? Jesus fucking Christ, that's a lot of pages for party whose only real ideas are to cut taxes for the rich, get rid of labor laws, and not let colored people vote.
