I disagree. I can’t think of another example of a time SCOTUS overturned a precedent in the name of restricting rights. Usually, it’s to expand rights, like they did when Brown v Board of Education overturned Plessy. SCOTUS had already ruled again and upheld abortion rights in Casey. What SCOTUS did was extremely radical. Unheard of.

Trump obviously doesn’t have to select every one of these people—that’s what the Heritage Foundation and 100 other conservative groups associated with Project 2025 are doing. That’s what their little training schools and shit are for. They’ll have shitloads of names already vetted and trained, just waiting to be rubber-stamped by Trump.

On Day 1, they will be ready to install a massively powerful executive branch, and a flurry of executive actions will follow: everything I mentioned earlier regarding abortion/contraception, but similar things to the DOJ, FBI, FISA courts, EPA, Dept of Energy, on and on. What defense do we have except to file a bunch of lawsuits? While that shit gets litigated for years, it’ll be too late. The only other option is impeachment, and Republicans have already shown that they simply won’t remove him no matter what.

Its literally a 900 page document by the Heritage Foundation along with other right wing think tanks about how they want to install theocratic dictatorship, ban pronography, censor the internet (classifying literally anything gay as "pornography"), disband any branch of the Federal Government that doesn't fall in line, and use the DOJ to force local law enforcement and Courts to prosecute the laws they desire under threat of Federal prosecution. Oh and remove almost all Federal protections for people and the environment, overruling environmental protection even in State laws.

Imprisonment of lgbt I could go on an on some of the hostilities are so extreme they could not do this with anyone else likely Trump or DeSantis. 920 page document seeks to expand Presidential powers to effectively go after political opponents and many government originations will be given almost unlimited power.
