Elections Project 2025 major right wing groups plan on creating a new super super pack

The project is well funded and supported.
It's purpose is a plan to reshape the U.S. federal government to support the agenda of Donald Trump. The aim is to remove all opposition so Trumps policies can go through uncontested.

The nearly 1,000-page transition guide was written by more than 350 rightwingers and is full of sweeping recommendations to deconstruct all sectors of the federal government– – including environmental policy.

Project 2025 is a plan to reshape the executive branch of the U.S. federal government in the event of a Republican victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.[2][3] Established in 2022, the project seeks to recruit tens of thousands of conservatives to Washington, D.C., to replace existing federal civil service workers it characterizes as the "deep state", to further the objectives of the next Republican president.[4] Although participants in the project cannot promote a specific presidential candidate, many have close ties to Donald Trump and the Trump 2024 presidential campaign.[5] The plan would perform a swift takeover of the entire executive branch under a maximalist version of the unitary executive theory — a theory proposing the president of the United States has absolute power over the executive branch — upon inauguration.[6]

_____

Project 2025 seems to be full of a whole array of ideas that are designed to let Donald Trump function as a dictator, by completely eviscerating many of the restraints built into our system. He really wants to destroy any notion of a rule of law in this country ... The reports about Donald Trump's Project 2025 suggest that he is now preparing to do a bunch of things totally contrary to the basic values we have always lived by. If Trump were to be elected and implement some of the ideas he is apparently considering, no one in this country would be safe.[9

This is not bs at all... Not sure about this source but I read an in depth article about these plans a couple years ago. It is well funded and well thought out because Trump feels like his biggest mistake was not getting rid of the heads of most government agencies and replacing them with yes men. These plans will ensure that it can all be done quickly.... as soon as trump is elected.

The kind of damage that can be done can be done quickly and rebuilding it would take many years... And Democrats aren't always eager to undo terrible policies that Republicans pass especially if it gives them power when they are in office.

I don't know if dictator is the right word, but it's definitely anti-american and authoritarian and the degradation of our country.

Somebody ought to dig up better sources so that David packman can't be discredited just based on who he is because this is a real thing.

Trump might enjoy what Obama had at the start of his first term: Control of the house and a filibuster proof 60 seat advantage in the Senate.

Under those circumstances change is possible.
Part of the plan is to also entirely rehire the civil service/fbi with a pro Republican requirement. They are running a recruitment campaign to ensure the next batch of civil servants and law makers are hired to be in agreement with the party. They have 1000 page dossier outlining every step in broad daylight.

wait, so the plan is to replace heads of institutions or whatever with loyal supporters?
whoopteedoo, isn't that what happens at every elections?
in europe, in my country, when one party wins, they immediately fill every possible position in administration with loyalists.
sounds like the usual catastrophizing and fear mongering during an election year.
why do you keep falling for it?
how many times are you going to fall far the old "if this happens, we're all doomed" bullshit?
it's just to whip people into a frenzy. y'all getting played.

The FBI and DOJ have no credibility because both are arms of the Democratic Party. A correction is way overdue.

they should get rid of the FBI and the DOJ and have the justice department controlled by the church. marjorie taylor greene can be in charge of appointing everyone to their positions.

sounds good.

I asked bing copilot to explain :

Yes, Project 2025 is something radically different than a normal change over in government. It is not just a plan to implement new policies, but also to restructure the entire executive branch and replace thousands of federal workers with conservatives who support the next Republican president's agenda. ¹²⁴

This would be a drastic departure from the usual practice of respecting the civil service and the rule of law, and it would likely face legal and constitutional challenges from Congress, the courts, and the public. ²³⁵

Project 2025 is based on a maximalist version of the unitary executive theory, which claims that the president has absolute power over the executive branch and can override or ignore any laws or regulations that limit his authority. ¹ This theory is controversial and disputed by many legal scholars and historians, who argue that it contradicts the separation of powers and the checks and balances that the U.S. Constitution established.

Therefore, Project 2025 is not a normal or typical transition plan, but a radical and unprecedented attempt to transform the U.S. government and society according to a conservative vision. ²⁵

Explained again by copilot:

According to some sources, this is true. Project 2025 seeks to recruit tens of thousands of conservatives to Washington, D.C., to replace existing federal civil service workers it characterizes as the "deep state", to further the objectives of the next Republican president. ¹²³ The project has formed a committee to recruit what it calls "conservative warriors" through bar associations and state attorneys general offices and install them in general counsel offices throughout the federal bureaucracy. ² The project also consists of a nearly 1000-page handbook of policy recommendations titled Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise and an accompanying personnel database open for submissions. ²³⁴⁵

The project's plan to rehire the civil service and the FBI with a pro-Republican requirement is part of its broader vision to restructure the U.S. government and society according to a conservative agenda. The plan proposes slashing U.S. Department of Justice funding, dismantling the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, and eliminating the cabinet departments of education and commerce. ²⁴ The plan also envisions giving the president complete power over the executive branch under a maximalist version of the unitary executive theory, which claims that the president has absolute power over the executive branch and can override or ignore any laws or regulations that limit his authority. ¹²⁴⁵

Some critics have described the plan as authoritarian, undemocratic, and unconstitutional, while some supporters have praised it as a way to restore American greatness and counter the "deep state" bureaucracy. ²³⁴⁵.
