Yeah he took a bad spill. One of the downsides of being tall. If you get put unconscious before you hit the ground, that's a long uncontrolled fall ahead of you.

I thought Reyes tried to fight a good fight. Jiri is just that good and skilled. If anything Jiri took some unnecessary shots from keeping his hands so low.
