Idk what the temperate is here, like a little below freezing at night and a bit more above in the day I suppose. There are quite big differences in different parts of the country and sometimes even over short distances. One factor is that the climate of the UK is such that often some places are just a little above freezing and others a little below, so you can get big differences in snow amounts then. And being on islands a lot of places are moderated by the sea. I have posted this account before but this person goes around filming Whitby to a high standard:
