Nah I just rewatched Jaws II, so you can swim and I'll shout encouragement from the boat and keep you headed in the right direction.

I'm actually banned from the USA anyway, as I have said before. But I did used to have a plan to go around the Northern Hemisphere which I never did fully. Something like UK -> Iceland -> US/Canada (have to fly this part) -> Japan -> Trans Siberian Railway -> Norway -> UK. But there aren't ferries between Norway and the UK now so I'd have to adapt it, I suppose Norway -> Germany -> Netherlands -> Hull.

With that being said they also ended the ferries from UK to the Faroes, from which ferries still go to Iceland, so the first part of the route would now have to go: UK -> Netherlands -> Germany -> Denmark -> Faroes -> Iceland.

And you can't get a ferry direct from Japan to Russia now, you have to go via South Korea and it stops for a few days there or something.

Will still have to organise this some day.

I would like to go South Korea-Japan-Australia + countries near them and small pacific islands (specially if time and money as no issue)

I've been to Australia. It was hot AS FUCK and most of the country is a flat, brown (semi)-desert. Actually I met a Finn near the Sydney Opera House so there are some there. Would rate 8/10. I think @The_Renaissance has been to every country at least twice, so he can probably give you some tips. He's probably been to your hometown.

It has been suggested elephants should be introduced to Australia actually. I posted about it in the Zookeeper Gabe thread a while ago.
