@Chules the club shop is selling the HEAT.RDY technology away and third shirts for £66. Paid £110 for my HEAT.RDY away shirt

<WhitmanDefeat>

If the HEAT.RDY home shirt drops down to £66 I might get one innit

Lewis Hamilton has been disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix after the rear skid block on his Ferrari was found to be under the minimum thickness required in the technical regulations, meaning that both of the team’s drivers have lost their results given that Charles Leclerc has also been disqualified for a car weight breach.

(McLaren take first and second places. :))

I’d get the third one if not, it’s different but the colours are 🔥 worthy investment, you can wear them in the gym or when it’s well hotttt

I'm not the biggest fan of the third one, but it does look pretty crisp in the flesh. I didn't think much of the home shirt at first, but it has grown on me.

We're not that far off new kits now too; only a few months and the new kits will be out 😻

I’ve limited myself to just one every season now for my collection 😂 I wore one today on my Sunday run so I’ll always wear them so I don’t care. I wanna get more retro arsenal/Celtic ones, need to put in a order on that Taiwanese website

And Inter Milan lol

Always loved their kits as a kid

I hear you. I haven't bought any for so long so I don't mind splashing the cash on a few now. I'm still hoping to get the long sleeve retro one, but they never have my size, and I keep missing out.

@650lb Sumo all studying engineering/medicine imo

I tried to think of a Romanian invention, major cultural contribution or famous person, and came up blank in the first two categories. Anyone ITT can try. For famous people I got
Ceaușescu and Vlad the Impaler.
Our COOP doorway Big Issue saleswoman is Romanian. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm sure they are great people who will pay back their loans, fit right in and make good contributions. The more the merrier!

Games gone. Let’s move to Poland
Most British emigrants go to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France and Spain. Maybe the USA too. Which is out of the frying pan into the fire. However Boomers apparently are taking aim at Eastern Europe now. Comparatively safe, cheap and... culturally homogenous, like the land of their youth.

Amusingly more and more 'Heritage Americans' are moving to Europe as well, there was a thread about it in the WR a few months ago.

If I were going to emigrate and could go anywhere I think I'd go to somewhere in NE Norway/NW Russia. Russia would be much cheaper. They don't get much rain there though, which would be disconcerting. @Ignicious Har du vært i Hammerfest noen gang?

The history of Hammerfest football teams seems pretty complex with mergers and relegations and planning to change stadiums then the plan is cancelled and whatnot. I haven't patiently gone through the whole thing to iron out every detail. Anyway it seems Hammerfest Idrettsforening Stein FC now play in the Finnmark Fourth Division, at one or both of these cosy and scenic stadiums:

Edit: there's an indoor stadium/pitch too.

They finished 8th out of 9 last season.

I also found out (some of the) Norwegian lower leagues are split into groups. The Third Division has six groups of 14 teams.

Murmansk, in NW Russia, is much bigger than Hammerfest and their team, North FC (lol), play in the Second Division, having been promoted last year. Here's their stadium:
