Why’s my boy Tierney benched FFS

Presumably tickets were 2 quid and included a free lambrini.

Almost always the case with these big attendances for the ladies.

Tbf, to Sunderland they have pretty decent support by and large. Yes, yes I'm sure we can see a half empty stadium for a tuesday night Carabao cup game, but averaging 40k+ in the Championship is pretty impressive.

I think the tickets were £8 and I think Sunderland had the previous record attendance with just over 15K, then Newcastle beat it with 28K and then again today with 38K.

Mens Team:

They have the highest average attendance in the Championship. Last year the Championship was the second most attended league in Europe; they beat Serie A, La Liga, and the Bundesliga.

More teams and games obviously, but that is still a pretty crazy stat .

Assume that’s total attendance not average? Still pretty impressive stat.

Remember they did a big event at the Emirates for Arsenal vs United ladies recently. Think they got over 50k. Even with cheap tickets still pretty impressive I guess.

My contract at werk was finishing in august but I just got emailed an extension and how they’d love me to stay blah blah etc. Gonna say yes whilst I try plan my exit route from it all and live in an igloo somewhere in Europe 😂 . Nice to be wanted for once.

Fried chicken on me @Arqueto

Yeah, total attendance. Still crazy considering it's the second tier of English football.

It's definitely getting more popular, and parents are taking their kids to the games.
