Prediction league: Your future UFC GOAT Prospects?

Shara Bullet
Mauricio Ruffy

I would have added Merab but his early career and lack of finishes will be held against him. Otherwise he's the next guy in line on my list.

DDP is also a beast but he looks so awkward I'm not 100% sold on him yet.
Well, DDP is young and has a fantastic record. So if he can have a prime til he's 34 and he can rack defenses so long as he stays active. The potential is there he has not lost in the UFC yet, and the Future of the MW division is not as bright is it is right now. After already going through Strickland Whittaker and Izzy, It's easy to see him hold the title for 3 more years. Khamzat will be the true test, after that, It's smooth sailing for Dricus

Islam is 2 wins away from the UFC's ALL-TIME winstreak.
1 win away from being LW GOAT and 1 fight away from being double champ.

He has the highest GOAT potential.

Islam - if he beats arman that will be 4 title defenses and he will have the 2nd longest winstreak in UFC history, I would have him near the top 5 or inside of the top 5 if he beats arman, if he gets another win after that over someone like Ilia/Belal/Shavkat then I think you can make the case he is the Goat. He has amazing quality of wins

Ilia - Already beat volk and holloway who are 2 top 15 all time fighters, if he gets 3-4 title defenses then I think he is the featherweight GOAT easily

Umar - His style seems good for longevity, doesn't get hit a lot, keeps his distance and can wrestle. I don't see any bantamweight being trouble for Umar, he can either outwrestle them or outstrike them

Khamzat - This is the most difficult one to determine because of his sickness and inconsistent performances, I think his talent and skill is far above every middleweight but he has looked kind of suspicious in the usman fights, I know he broke his hand but he looked winded quicker than he should have been.

Aspinall - He is so much better than the other heavyweights I think he can just get 5 title defenses all by 1st round finish

Ilia Topuria is off to a good start. Undefeated, and coming off convincing KO's against two FW greats in Volkanovski and Holloway. If he moves up and defeats Islam, he is in the conversation.

Ilia Topuria....by a large margin.

Jamahill
Merab
Buckley
Toppy
Chimmy

🚫🦁💯🦌

Besides the obvious candidates, I'll go with Michael Morales.

Young
Undefeated
Pretty much blowing everyone away
Will likely enter title contention in 2025

I think Belal is going to ruin his chances. He should have already moved up but won't fight someone Khabib trained. Now he's going to be stuck fighting a very dangerous Topuria. Imagine your GOAT legacy getting ruined by Belal lol

When one of them loses yo autistic nerds will be saying he was overrated.

yeah but he doesn't have the top 10 wins.

Doesn't matter if he passes the streak. Same with Usman. Andersons streak was 16 fights and it was mostly title fights. Only a few non title fights (bonnar, Griffen, Iriving, Leben)

Usman and Islams streaks cant compare. maybe IF islam ever gets to the point where he has 5+ top 10 wins they can discuss it but he's only at 3

There's a good chance he gets a double belt that most of the "GOATS"(mighty mouse, anderson silva, aldo etc) don't have in arguably the 2 hardest divisions ever in LW/WW. Becoming the LW GOAT IMO if he beats Arman.

Many people put Khabib/Aldo in the top 5 GOAT list, he'll completely surpass them and alot of them(aside from Jones/GSP, but their "double champ" status is sniping easy matchups) if he beats Arman, he wins 2nd belt and defends it a few times, along with All-Time UFC win streak leader.

He's definitely a top 3 GOAT AT LEAST at that point.

He's no where near surpasing aldo at this point he'll need about 5 more top 5 wins and 4 or 5 title defenses before that ever happens don't think he'll stick around to do it.

He'll become the GOAT in LW, have the longest undefeated winstreak in UFC history, and be a double champ in the two hardest divisions in his next 2 wins(if he wins).

Considering if he stays in WW and defends in 2-3 times, he'll 100% be over Aldo, Khabib, Anderson IMO. You don't need to match title defenses to jump over someone as GOAT, quality and significance of wins matters. Being a double champ is a huge mark in GOAT convos now.

I don't think he'll fight long enough to do all that.

Because rattling off 10-15 names doesn't dilute what GOAT is supposed to mean, at all.
