He had told me legalization wouldn't happen in his lifetime but would in mine. I thought “Yeah Right” till my first visit to a Colorado Dispensary.

Thank you, but it officall true @Madmick
I missed this. Link? How are we defining "caused"?

I'm not among those who pretend weed is some miracle enhancement. It has some very promising medicinal qualities, and it's a phenomenal stress reliever, but I generally classify it as a vice. Lots of negative stuff we've learned that many smokers don't want to acknowledge while crying conspiracy, or more usually to which they're simply ignorant.

Nevertheless, keep in mind that all the deaths "caused" by marijuana are usually citing the weed as an associative, contributing factor, and don't assign immediate causation to the drug. For example, an elderly woman who has severe pneumonia just won't stop burning her doobies. She croaks, a premature death, and the doctors conclude that the marijuana smoke was a contributing factor, but they'll still cite pneumonia as the cause. Another example, a virgin smoker gets blasted, and dies in a car crash. Like with alcohol, marijuana isn't the direct cause, but the trauma from the crash.

I couldn't find the link you provided for the Portugal drug thread.

Always had access to the best weed since I am from Amsterdam <{jackyeah}>
been there just to smoke twice I thought the weed was ok but definitely overrated imo way better stuff in the states lol I did find some awesome hallucinates In Holland though .

Back in the day my buddy got a small rock of opium and we used to scrape off a little opium flake on to the bud when we smoked. That was some crazy, magical, dream world shit.
You bastard! Opium was the ONE drug, the only one that I always wanted to try but could never find. Sounds amazing, but its too late for me now.

Now that weed is legal in Canada it's so tempting and convenient to get it lol

We have one next to a grocery story

I actually bought a gram of something called Blueberry Kush to try tonight

20% THC

But there's always the naysayers who abolish weed but drink all the liquor in the world and puke and fight fight each other

<Fedor23>

Will you make a thread while high?

<{danayeah}>

When I started blazing here in B.C, there was skunk weed. Since then, Kush and Hydro took over. With all these dispensaries now, Sativa is becoming really popular. Dealers that I knew rarely ever sold Sativa.

Growing up in BC, I've had access to some of the best weed in the world since the 90s. Not sure if that's good or bad. Then Kush came along with 30%+ THC and the only strain I ever tried as a teenager that compared was real hashbud.

Now there's this synthetic crap that some dumb fucks are actually stupid enough to smoke.

Yep. Recently after a 3 year sobriety I told a friend I wanted to start getting blazed again. I felt so good about my image, thoughts, health when I was a toker my 20's.

A friend of his sells me 40$ Of herb that came in a black medicine bottle. Smelt like weed all checked out. But after a week's of smoking it I realized its....not right. I'm sure it was synthetic weed, flushed down the toilet and upset, depressed about the current state of weed and wished for the days of Schwag, that hard to break up shit.

It's one thing to decide to be a pothead again, an entirely egregious and complicated process finding herb that's good.

Are you sure that wasn't about synthetic weed? If this was that debate with Rod1 the focus was meth, coke, and opioids (as in the pseudolegal market), not marijuana.

You given me two very specific pieces of information, and I'm still drawing a blank. Here's couple of my past posts looking at the downsides of the drug. The first expresses particularly my reservations about concentrates:

Here's what pisses me off about what little we know:

To be clear: while I don't dress up my vices, I also unequivocally advocate for the legalization of recreational marijuana, and always have.

Mexican Brick Weed in Dallas was 50 an O back in 95.

Shit like this. Fuck this was my golden era! Buying an ounce for fifty bucks was exciting, electrifying, and I slept great when I felt like it. None of this anxiety inducing trash.

New Jersey is probably going to legalize recreational use in a couple of months and that will put a lot of pressure on PA to join in.

I smoked on Friday for the first time in years.

I was used to shitty dirt weed back in college.

I smoked some medical stuff in a bowl and than hit some of that wax stuff out of a bong and it put me on my ass.

I remeber thats all I wanted when I was 15 was a 50$ oz so that I could flip it. I bought 2 zips for like 50$ last year and I ended up giving it all away lol, at least I made my old black fishing buddy happy

I smoked a few joints back in the day sprinkled with opium.

It was scary how good that high was lol.
