Back in the day my buddy got a small rock of opium and we used to scrape off a little opium flake on to the bud when we smoked. That was some crazy, magical, dream world shit.
Coming up, pot was generally established as Mexican brickweed, or commercial, which graded downwards through schwag (seeds and stems, plenty) and then dirtweed (seeds, stems, the smell of dirt, musty, maybe you'll find pebbles or an insect cocoon. Sometimes smells of ammonia if it's been sitting around long).
You paid 20 or 25 an eighth and 40 a ¼.
Then there was sinsemilla, no seeds, nicely transported flower, sometimes smelled of oranges; they packed the dope in citrus crates. A higher grade. Sometimes 40 a time but that was a friendly deal, usually fifty to sixty bucks.
Then there was what the kids call dank, we called it Kind bud. That was almost always 100 a ¼. So much skunky goodness you could smell it through two baggies from a block away.
Remember them days

Are you from the U.K.? Same story for me, squidgy black first of all, then soap bar after that, weed was a myth-someone always knew someone whose mate’s brother could get weed, but it never happens.
I don’t miss soap bar, but I get quite nostalgic about squidgy black these days, would love to be able to get some now.
Ha, only read this after I just posted, but same. Are you from the U.K.? Same story for me, squidgy black first of all, then soap bar after that, weed was a myth-someone always knew someone whose mate’s brother could get weed, but it never happens.

Lol, 2Indeed I am bro and I'm going back nearly 30 years ago. Actually bumped into an old mate of mine the other day who had a little bit of black and got "a bit for a stick" off him. First time I've seen the stuff in years but not as squishy as back in the days of old lol. Was aight in my bong though.

Hah! Mostly Peter Tosh albums for me, but always way too much bass!Ha, only read this after I just posted, but same.
I have a lad at work that still gets red seal. Keep meaning to get some, for old times sake. Used to love the giggly buzz whilst listening to old hip hop on speakers that were way too bassy!
