Venum Lights Gold Edition fightshorts
Venum Hurricane FX Black fightshorts
Lonsdale 14oz fight gloves
2 pairs of Lonsdale handwraps
a generic Judo gi
Punchtown Karpal Ex mma gloves
2x Jaco Guardian
Duo Gear 120 Mexican handwraps (a local UK brand)
Duo Gear Muay Thai Anklets
I've been training for years and haven't used as much gear as some of you have.... more money than sense I think.

Hmmmmmm I do not see your logic.I would never tell a car collector he has more cars then he needs or tell a sneaker collector he has too many sneakers.Just like I wouldn't tell a gear collector he has too much gear...please be more considerate, just like we are towards the gear companies.
Gear companies that have never really been considerate to us, you mean? Nah, i'm okay thank you.
I have the right to an opinion aswell you know and I don't see logic in buying far too much than you actually need.
You probably don't see the logic in having more than 1 spoon or 1 pair of shoes etc. either so there's no point in arguing.Gear companies that have never really been considerate to us, you mean? Nah, i'm okay thank you.

I'd like to know what gear companies your talking about? The only company I can think of that doesn't give two shits about their customers are Everlast.
Yeah I've been using them in sparring regularly for 2 years and they still look brand new. They actually feel better than brand new as they have formed to my shins over time. Those boon shinguards are sweet.
My first pair of gloves were the original King Professionals with the elastic hook/loop, and they fit great but I don't think the wrist support is as good as the long solid cuff on the Ultimate. I wouldn't worry about your purchase though, its a well designed and well made glove. I didn't have any issues of the elastic wearing out at all, the only reason I had to lose the gloves was because I made the rookie mistake of not taking care of them and let them get funky beyond saving. How do you like your king gloves?
I have a pair of top kings on the way from thailand, pro series...kind of regretting it now...hope that elastic will last!

I only have experience with King Professional, so I'm not sure how they differ from Top King. I've tried on the Air version but its kind of hard to compare because its a different design than what I've had and they were only 10oz's.
I just bought those white/black palm Kings a few months ago. The blue ones are over 2 years old and are still in good condition. Small crack on one of the palms and the padding is mushed around a bit, but they still have a lot of life left in them.
