Post Your Gloves/Gear

The Fairtex MMA gloves are excellent, extremely tough gloves.

I've heard of people saying the wrist support system isn't the greatest when it comes to MMA gloves but a bit of tape solves that, I love these gloves.

To the poster asking about the Rogue shin guards, they are the only pair I've used so I don't have any comparison but I find them to be very secure and protective enough for you and your sparring partner.

Nice, are you from the UK? I can't seem to find any suppliers for them over here in the states, I guess I'll have to find an alternative.

How do you NOT own Jiu-Jisu University by Saulo Ribeiro? Your collection is missing a very important item.

Btw you guys have been busy posting a lot of pictures, you all have some great looking gear.

It's on my birthday wish list, I also have Shaun Sheridans books but my friend has a loan of them.

How are those Sandees's in terms of quality compared to your fairtex's?

Ive only sparred with the Sandee (they were a boxing day sales treat) but I was very impressed with everything to the stitching to the padding, My favourite gloves are the 10oz
Fairtex's, I used them the most, they are starting to get pretty soft and worn in, I would put the fairtex's just above the sandee's but sandee's are a great make of glove.

Please god tell me where you got the Chute Boxe shorts.

Don't know about now, but they used to be easy to get. I have black/red and black/blue Chute Boxe VT shorts are they're both bad.

I have only worn the Chute Boxe VT shorts a few times and they are nice so far. I have had the Bad Boy pair for almost a year and nothing wrong with them and I love them. Same with the American Stand Up shorts but only had for about 7 months or so. Will give a review on the Chute Boxe shorts after a few weeks of training in them :D

How are you liking those Rogue shin pads by the way, do they protect well in heavy sparring?

The rogues are good pretty much like most mma shinpads like the hyabusa's i tend to wear them if i want a bit more mobility as the top kings are very bulky but have alot more padding although the rogues do absorb alot of punishment if your going super heavy kicking and checking kicks you will feel alot more than you would if you were wearing the top kings.

Finally get to break in the top king gloves and fairtex headguard tomorrow :)

I like both, the gloves could be a tad bit smaller. I just got the twins and they feel comparable to the grants, I kind of wish I bought the pro models when they were still $150 at ringside. The headgear I love, the visions great and it's definitely prevented me from getting ktfo from some hooks I've taken. I had the grant cup too but it's gotten way too big for me.

I might have to look into Grant. I just picked up some Twins and there my favorite gloves so far (that I own)
