Wow I love those boots!! These are on my want list for sure at some point. In the interim I managed to pick up a pair of these at a good price....glove collection has doubled this month

That's a nice pair of gloves. I would love to have a pair too, but I can't source them anywhere in decent price. I'm only not sure about this plastic on the back. If it will keep laces with lace'n'loop strap in place.

Coach at my gym really rates them (he is pro fighter too). Initial impression are they are similar to winning / fly in terms of shape like a cross between the two. Padding a little firmer than winning. Leather is similar soft leather and the lining is really smooth. They have great reviews on fit2box as well

The plastic looks really good I think if you just lacing up you would need to tape as well or tie them on the inside. I think with a lace converter will be fine

Nice shoes @Lotnik ! Looking forward to hear your comments after you've used them for a while. I've recently just got some comments from my coach in Mexico City regarding the Adams boxing shoes. Would love to hear yours and see if should be added to my wishlist.

Which country you live? I guess overall international shipping costs from Mexico are very expensive. Would normally end up being around 80+% of the gloves price.

Sorry I'm late to the party haha
I've been looking at these for a few weeks haha but I can't do it....I bought some reebok before lockdown and I've not managed to wear them, I can't buy more. I'm going to have to ban myself from here. You guys are the worst haha.

P.s - how much did you pay

@Kendodsworth @RDL81 we just need to make sure that we properly declare all our boxing collection items in our will for our family. Lets just better see this as an "investment" for our children as a justification for all this spending - Ha.

I actually really like the colour scheme on these - though it feels very Hulk Hogan - and I've been wondering when gloves were going to start featuring sponsors. Feels like a matter of time before some Pro comes into the ring with gloves with some corporate logo on them. If shorts are fair game, gloves/boots must be too.

The big European football clubs make millions from sponsors on their jerseys...

Obviously aesthetically, they basically don't look as nice.
 
Here is my current lineup of gloves. From left to right, top to bottom, they are as follows (all lace-ups unless specifically stated otherwise): Cleto Reyes hook & loop bag gloves (size medium; about 5.5 ounces each); Cleto Reyes 12-ounce traditional training gloves; Cleto Reyes 14-ounce traditional trading gloves; New Sporting 14-ounce; Necalli / Casanova 14-ounce hook & loop; Cleto Reyes 16-ounce traditional training gloves; Necalli / Casanova 16-ounce; New Sporting 16-ounce.

By the way, if anyone is interested, the 16 ounce gold Reyes gloves are brand new, never used and currently for sale on eBay. The auction ends Sunday at 4:50 pm EST, and the current bid is only at $50. You can search for them by the eBay item #, which is 233978689135. Send me a message that you’re from Sherdog, and I’ll throw in a free pair of Lace-N-Loop glove converters. I’ll also give you a refund equal to 10% of the winning bid amount, not including shipping or tax charges. For example, if the winning bid is $110, the shipping charge is $12, and tax is $8, the total price you’d have to pay would be $130. I would then send you a partial refund of $11 (10% of $110), thus effectively reducing your total cost to $119.

What are people's opinions on the best bag gloves?

Right now I have rival rb10s and they're really nice, there's nothing wrong with them but im thinking about selling them just to try something new

But I dont want to end up with something worse then what I already had

I was thinking about trying some custom top boxers made for the heavy bag but idk, just worried they won't be as good as what I already have
