Interesting; I've found Speedex pinch my achilles, but Hog don't. Both pretty great value in comparison with Nike boots.
I am not as keen on the toe of the hog they I find them narrow. The Nike KO are lovely so light but not very durable in my experience. I also have some Nike Machomai V2 but not used them yet

I find the strap on Hyper KO makes them pretty tight/narrow across the top of my toes but they are nice & light.
My favourite boots are the Reebok Bucks though, which I know some people don't rate.

I also have the rayon VL-B wraps.

In comparison:
The VL-H are (5 cm wide).
the VL-B rayon are (4 cm wide).

The VL-H is not as thin as the fabric used on the VL-B.

The new VL-H wraps are still a stretchy fabric, then they get wet from sweat the wrap becomes a bit firmer, which I like.
Be aware that if you wrap too snug, they will begin to feel tighter after you've worked out for a while due the way the fabric reacts with moisture.

I guess that was the intent with them choosing that fabric.

I'll take some pictures of both to compare, and post them later.

Sounds like it's worth for me to try it out, thanks!
I tried most of the older models (that I think Winning Japan discontinued back in Q4 2019), wasn't too impressed with their cotton ones.... but the VL-H sounds like it's something I'm looking for.

I liked the buck boots until one the shoes unbounded mid way through a spar so trying to fight with this floppy sole haha

Just recieved a pair of Infinitude gloves with their version of the lace'n'loop. Came very quickly 10 days after the order confirmation. Quality and comfort looks really good for the first look. No lose threads or loose lining. They improved laces length. I've seen on YouTube that short laces was an issue. Now they are long enough.

Hi,

I just got these yesterday and trained with them once yesterday evening. This morning I saw these wrinkles on the back of them. Is this normal or should I return them? I'm afraid something is wrong!

Thanks for the advice!

Happens to Winnings with their super soft leather all the time.

I just can't get ahold of myself

for me as an indonesian, it's $50 cheaper buy these directly from Mexico.
$220 includes shipping to indonesia by DHL.
Compared to buying from US , $180 + $80 + $10 (forwarding service).
Love the smell, just like Boxeo. But Boxeo smells is stronger and better.

I heard rumors flying around the internet that the Mexican versions are a little different in padding or something. Is that true?

BTW, Cleto Reyes does makes a special batch/type for Japan according to my friend. He showed me this video, but unfortunately I don't understand a lick of it. According to him, the padding is much softer. I guess Cletos think Japanese people are too used to "pillowy" and might not accept their regular type so they made one for the market.

These are my first pair of cleto reyes so i can't tell much.
Compared to my other gloves, fly x, sabas proseries, winning, boxeo, my cleto are stiff. The leather is thick and stiff.
I wouldn't use them for sparring. Not until i break them in as others say it's a tough one.

I am still breaking these in but they don’t seem to be any different to the 16oz I used to have. The leather is super quality I did here they used to the best leathers on gloves for the domestic market but I am not sure how true that is as they look similar to me.

the Japanese ones aren’t just the extra padding gloves they do now?

Ummm, not sure about that, especially since I never used the Extra Padding versions personally.
I DMed my friend asking him and he showed me this: https://reyes.jp/?pid=153889042

Apparently these Japan only versions are 8 oz and 10 oz (unlike the Extra Padding sold on Reyes' USA Site that are only 14 oz and 16 oz), all have White Reyes Labels. He also said the video's mentioned that only America-ya (the same store that is a Retailer for Winning) sells them directly if you're not going to order from Cleto Reyes Japan.

That is most strange!! Interesting though really enjoying using my 14oz at the minute
