I totally know what you mean. I feel people like artists (drawing, painting/digital painting) have to be either the most talented or the most patient people in the world. Also musicians. I know being good at an actual trade takes a lot of time. I know it takes a REAL lot of time. It's hard to be good at something. But until you actually try to learn guitar cords or put a lot of effort just to learn how to shade a simple drawing, you know the professionals who do this everyday for hours on end have to have the patience of a saint.

I used to have more patience when I was younger, not so much nowadays. I've actually been playing guitar for around 10 years and I make my own songs and such, I have no plan to present them to anybody it's mostly just a hobby.

I used to draw all the time when I was a kid, but for some reason I stopped. The hardest thing I ever drew was Predator and it took me like two weeks, took fucking forever but it turned out really well. If it were today, I wouldn't have the patience. I'd go at it for about an hour and then give up because I get irritated for sucking so bad.

Damn this thread is making me nostalgic. All I used to do was draw (even considered architecture at one point) before I discovered it was way easier to tell a story with words.

Might dig out some stuff to be destroyed by the Sherdog Renaissance masters when I get home...
