I play video games past the age of 30

I'm 37 years old and played video games from my childhood till I was 31 years old.

I used to own PS2, PS3, and PS4.

My favourite games where Super Mario, GTA 3, and GTA 5.

Playing Super Mario, GTA 3, and GTA 5 are one of the best moments of my life.

I stopped playing video games when I stopped playing GTA 5. After that I was focused on learning like reading books, following courses and reading/watching information on the internet.

Maybe in the future I will buy GTA 6 and play GTA 6.

I'm sometimes in doubt and think about buying a PS4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. I think I think it will make me happier, but it will also cost time and money.

Not as much as I did in my 20's but I do late at night when my anxiety is going off I will play building type of games (Ark Survival) or golf. Also I play with my son when he wants to play as well.

I'll play video games until the day I die. Video games are getting more complex and in depth in terms of story line. It's like experiencing your own movie. The graphics are getting much more advanced. I can't even imagine the next 10-15 years what video games will be like. Especially the virtual reality realm.

Hell yes. But I don’t play many video games. But there aren’t many that come out that are really good anymore. I just started playing Skyrim again last night. And I play red dead online with my friends every weekend. When the game actually works, it’s pretty fun to ride around with friends and screw around.

I quit, but this fucking lockdown bullshit made me play some Halo 5 again.

Na, I have a ps4 and rarely actually play games. I just don’t have the patience I guess and am usually busy.

I do still play a little CS 1.6 on my laptop though... so I guess the answer could be yes.

Yes, but rarely. Save weekends where the wife and kids are out of town or something, no time.

Millennials will still be playing video games in the retirement home.
Grandkid: Wow grandpa, you're still playing on screens!? I had my new VR gaming chip implanted last week, it's awesome! You should try it!
Grandpa: Ain't nobody implanting me with a goddamn gaming chip kid

lol pretty much. Except by the time I'm that old all my fucks will have been given out and I'll take the chip.

Super Mario Bros
Chrono Trigger
Sonic
Streets of Rage
Outrun
Virtua Racing
Virtua Fighter
Super Hang-on
Street Fighter 3rd Strike

34 year old retro gamer here.

Not so much like when I was a teen, but if there's free time then I play a lot.

Not really. If I got into video games everything in my house would turn to shit as I'm usually an all or nothing person when it comes to games.

I tried my hand at Fortnite but am shit at building. It kept me from putting time in. Nothing like building the second tier of a build then hearing the head shot that ends my game.

Sure do. I'm thinking a lot of people born in the 80s and 90s will definitely be geriatric gamers.

Tbh modern games today sucks ass, unlike to games of yesterday.

I think the SNES/Genesis era up to PSX/N64/Dreamcast era are the golden ageof gaming.

But San Andreas, RE4 and Halo is so much fun.

Yup. It slowed down significantly through college and a bit after, but picked back up in my late 20's. And outside of the FFVII remake I haven't really played a lot of new console games recently. They just require entirely too much commitment. With a career, family, and other hobbies I just can't justify playing games that take a minimum of 40+ hours to finish. These days I mainly play SNES through Dreamcast games or newer fighting games online.

I am not 30.

But I imagine I would play GTA 6 and a COD.

I am not into games, dont own a game system but I wouldnt mind having GTA 5 and a COD to play live. Just to mindlessly do something and have some fun.

54 and I still play regularly. Usually about 30-45 minutes late at night.
