You must be 12 or some shit. Go talk to a biologist about a humans prime physical condition and when it occurs.
I have more degrees than you have teeth. I don’t need to talk to a biologist to know that performance (and hence the determination of whether someone is in their prime) is measured by direct observation. Anything less than that is conjecture. Don’t waste my time with this misinformed swill.

Werdum was most certainly in his prime, bringing an updated striking game to his deadly ground ability. Best win of Stipe's career for sure.
Ngannou was slightly green although had already seen the likes of Blaydes, Overeem and Arlovski. I'd say Francis is more in his prime right now but a solid win for Miocic none the less.

As others have noted, he's got two prime HW wins on his resume. Three if you include DC, but that fight was embarrassing on many fronts.

You're wrong though, so your degrees likely don't mean shit. I'd advise you to inform yourself on a subject before acting like you're some kind of expert when you don't even know what a biological prime means and is. <Lmaoo>

As far as actual big career defining wins go, Ngannou was literally the only one. Hes in a weird position where most of the big names he beat he probably would have lost to prime for prime.

National Boards and my state license actually do recognize me as an expert. I think this whole concept is going over your head so I won’t further try to teach the unreachable. Go back to your choring instead of trying to sound smart here, cause you’re not fooling anyone.

overeem, arlovski etc. were on solid runs. granted they arent in their prime, at least he beat em when they were coming off of win streaks and not losses.

ngannou, dc and werdum are prob his best when talking about guys in their prime or closest to it. all 3 were supposed to beat him easily, then he won and the narrative switched so people could still shit on him lol.

3.
13.
Whats the difference.
Well I mean that is a 4.3 times difference! which is huge. THe point i'm making here is that Ngannou wasn't the *total* newbie fighter, he had 13 pro fights and 7 of those were in the UFC. You said it was like his 3rd fight or something. And that's just....plain incorrect (and not even close). Sorry.

At first I thought that maybe Stipe beat Penn and Maynard as a warm up, before fighting dangerous HW fighters

The answer was 10.

Which is like half the power of a fiat!

Anyone who says dc is past his prime is insane.

Anyone saying a 41 year old is in his physical prime has zero idea what prime actually means.

Just because someone is still successful does not mean they are in their prime.

Arlovski definitely wasn’t in his “prime” but he was on a six fight win streak which included starching Bigfoot and that epic upset over a top tier HW at the time in Browne.

That win deserves a little more merit on Stipe’s record imo.

DC is noticeably slower today than when he fought HW in Strikeforce.

Lmao. You are 100% wrong and no one who knows anything about biology and human performance would claim a fucking 40 year old is still in his physical prime. You would be laughed out of the room by actual experts if you suggested it to them. You're an idiot.

Francis was definitely not in his prime. The guy is still getting better. I believe he's improved a lot since he fought Stipe.

I appreciate the input and value your opinion. But then again I’m an idiot, I would value someone like you and your opinion. I don’t usually pull this one out cause its douchey to say but Im responding my audience: I’m gonna go stack a ton of fuckin chips with my tomfoolery and idiocy. Apparently they’ll let anyone be a scientist these days. Hopefully my funding sources don’t find out some obviously astute gentleman on sherdog finds my theories and me, by extension, idiotic. That could be troublesome for my career. As with your other pal arguing, this concept seems to be above your head as well, so I’m not gonna throw a tennis ball at a wall and expect the wall to absorb it. I’m sure you’re running low on Copenhagen so go on and git skidaddlying your way to the local quickie mart.

How has improved? It’s a genuine question. I could be wrong but noone has really tested his cardio or TD defense since Stipe. Cain tried a sloppy take down and took one on the jaw so we do have that. Otherwise we have no evidence he’s improved in those areas but I’m open to hear your thoughts.

This thread has schizophrenia...

"Werdum was 40 but he beat Cain!"

"DC was passed his prime!"

"Francis was a bit green!"

lol

I agree he hasn't been truly tested yet. But I honestly believe Ngannou knows his weaknesses and has trained hard to not have those weaknesses since his fight with Stipe. I just don't see how he would not focus on those aspects of his game and try to improve it.

But anyways will see how he does with Rozenstruik, maybe he'll get tested there with his cardio and wrestling and will see if has truly improved.
