POLL: How do you feel about the DDP/Strickland switch up?

DDP just smashed Whitaker, what has Sean ever done in his entire career besides run his mouth?

The DDP vs Izzy fight was exciting to see who the biggest blackest African dude is while the Sean fight is a letdown because Sean can't burst a grape.

Izzy better take him serious or he risk getting taken lile Serra/GSP or Bisping/Rockhold.

I'd prefer DDP just because I think Strickland is a very good matchup for Izzy. Don't care much regardless.

It stinks, but I understand the situation. No one should take the biggest fight of their life on short notice with an injury.

The build up before Strickland and Adesanya's fight should be fun with a lot of comedy, and I think Strickland beat Cannonier when they fought so he's on a decent win streak in my eyes. It's the only fight that really makes sense in the division with DDP sitting out, Pereira moving up and Whittaker losing.

Strickland is an interesting fight within itself. Izzy is the king of the Division and he fights all contenders and each come with their own unique quirk

Disappointed? Excited? Indifferent?

Well I'm especially happy because I'm going to enjoy Izzy-Strickland, and then we're going to get Izzy-Dricus as well, because there's very little chance Sean beats Izzy.

I've grown to really enjoy Sean, but he either cracks or gets out pointed.

I felt pretty strong Strickland was robbed vs cannonier so I don't mind him getting his shot and love the idea of a press conference with them.

I also want DDP to be 100% healthy so him not being rushed is good for me too when he fights next time with the champion.

Strickland is probably one of the biggest cons in MMA. His resume is absolutely garbage.

Of course we would adore it if DDP beat Izzy, but a lot of us are living in reality, and know that it’ll end up looking like Costa probably.

Strickland however… just a bad fight from all angles.

It’s going the distance, we just know it. Sean doesn’t deserve it, the fight makes ZERO sense. Complete gimme fight.

Pretty indifferent. Strickland buildup will be entertaining and I wonder if he will tweak his style to try and deal with Izzy. DDP rushing into a title fight 7 weeks later with an injury would have been dumb of him so I ain’t mad about it

Meh. Izzy is/was probably going to beat both of them anyway. I was more interested in Poatan fighting Izzy again tbh. But it’s rare in mma where I get what I want.
