Fucked up my rib on the 3rd drunk as hell. Still have not smoked not even a drag since Feb 10th so Im real happy about that.

Stepped back into my garage gym today to see how I felt.

Got off 3x5 195lb squats and called it a day. Was a bit painful so Im going to take it a bit easy the next week or so till I feel 100%

Ty Jaunty.

Basically been through ALOT of personal shit in the past month which went overboard when my fiance's dad died suddenly of a heart attack at 55. So Im kinda determined to get back to lifting, Im going to take it real easy until I get used to lifting regularly again as when I take care of myself other things seem to fall into line. But yeah it really blows my girl's dad wont be able to walk his little girl down the isle and hand her over...

Im going to run a program called Greyskull linear progression. It seems like a hybrid of SS and 5/3/1. I bought the book and read it and I like the way you can basically do whatever you want outside the core lifts. You only deadlift once a week and do two main lifts the other days and squat twice a week. I think I can recover being 37 and noticing recovering from squatting 3x a week is just too much I get crippled and miss workouts and then start drinking lol.
