See, I hate this kind of playstyle. I only have two chicken dinners, but my first was like a 7 or 8 kill game and my second was 4 kills. I loot quickly, same as you, getting the necessities: body armor, helmet, some meds, rifle, optics. Then it's run and gun. Violence, speed, and momentum. I will sneak when I need too, such as in the middle of a town I saw people chute/run/drive to, but I'm playing the game to get as many kills as possible, the chicken dinner is icing on top of the Killcake. 0 kill win should give you a "chicken shit dinner."The first chicken dinner I had, I only got 1 kill. Me and the other guy were fighting in the last circle. He runs out of bullets, tells me so with in-game voice, and runs out of the circle.
I've gotten 2 without killing anyone. Won a duo recently where all three of the other people (besides my partner) died outside the circle.
I always loot until I have level 1 armor and optics for a rifle. Then, I stop looting and hide if it's dangerous. I'll scope out one kill while the circle is big. Usually whoever I blast has all the equipment I need. Then I stay hidden and eventually move to where i think the last circle will be. Bonus points for high ground or a line of trees. Then, I do my best not to have to shoot anyone until the end.
The map is too spread out with all the action localized around a few spots--military base, school, Yas, Roz--for me to want to snake around in the grass until the final circle. I'd be bored to tears, which happens often enough on some games as it is.
Favorite drop spot is the flooded town. Good loot to be had, usually two or three kills, and two hot spots nearby in school and Roz.
