The first chicken dinner I had, I only got 1 kill. Me and the other guy were fighting in the last circle. He runs out of bullets, tells me so with in-game voice, and runs out of the circle.

I've gotten 2 without killing anyone. Won a duo recently where all three of the other people (besides my partner) died outside the circle.

I always loot until I have level 1 armor and optics for a rifle. Then, I stop looting and hide if it's dangerous. I'll scope out one kill while the circle is big. Usually whoever I blast has all the equipment I need. Then I stay hidden and eventually move to where i think the last circle will be. Bonus points for high ground or a line of trees. Then, I do my best not to have to shoot anyone until the end.
See, I hate this kind of playstyle. I only have two chicken dinners, but my first was like a 7 or 8 kill game and my second was 4 kills. I loot quickly, same as you, getting the necessities: body armor, helmet, some meds, rifle, optics. Then it's run and gun. Violence, speed, and momentum. I will sneak when I need too, such as in the middle of a town I saw people chute/run/drive to, but I'm playing the game to get as many kills as possible, the chicken dinner is icing on top of the Killcake. 0 kill win should give you a "chicken shit dinner."

The map is too spread out with all the action localized around a few spots--military base, school, Yas, Roz--for me to want to snake around in the grass until the final circle. I'd be bored to tears, which happens often enough on some games as it is.

Favorite drop spot is the flooded town. Good loot to be had, usually two or three kills, and two hot spots nearby in school and Roz.

Forged and I got down to 3rd in duos.
Evading fire, being chased, not finding any loot, then getting lost in a bunker maze.
Felt like success.

My strategy is out of necessity ;) I carry a <1 KDR in any shooter I have less than 200 hours. 40-50 players in any round of PUBG will beat me in a 50/50 fire fight.

I would never win without leveraging the best strategy.

I usually get 4-5 kills to one death per game.

Hey, just win baby.

intredasting.

what's your pubg handle?
sgt_jumpy but apparently i have no statistics after the update. haven't played. and being honest, 1-3 kills sounds more accurate.

I have the regular xbox one console. Hopefully this game runs smoothly still.

Is this the first time a specific region has taken over other regional servers in a multiplayer game?

If you look at the player count during NA peak times. Its 1/10th the player count of NA off peak times.

This game will be digital only right? No hard copy?

fuck I love getting the first kill and then getting sassed in the last 13...

nah h1z1 was notoriously bad also. then H1 decided to split their NA servers of all things to east and west... where if you were on west coast server you were essentially playing on an Asias server with players darting all over the map....but if you tried to play on NA east, you had like 88 base ping.....

man that game fucked the dog bad.

hopefully PUBG goes the way of League and other games in China where Chinese are essentially region locked into playing in China and cant play out.

Just killing people, u know.

Hopping like a bunny rabbit right out in the open somehow killing players who are behind cover.

This game seems realistic.

That final situation was interesting. The last guy I thought died because he started to crouch and the kill feed popped up for his teammate that I knocked down, so I stopped shooting and hit reload, then immediately realised what happened. However luckily he had run out of shots too so we were kind of standing in front of eachother reloading.

He panicked and didn't ADS when we reengaged so got lit up.

If you watch it in slowmo, you will see the red kill text pop up just as it starts to look like he's falling, which is why that situation got weird.
