Desert map looks pretty sweet. Bout to try it out
Just did. Won the very first solo game I played in it (accidentally joined a squad game as a solo first). Points aren't registering though.

There's a new lobby UI, too. FPS didn't drop below 100, was usually near 140. Fantastic.

Nice!

thought desert map was going to be smaller/more compact for more skirmishes

thing is fucking huge

Check out the players acog site, watch his cross hair and how it moves, this was the second time I was hit by this player resulting in a knockdown both times and from one single shot to the head.

Cheating?

I don't see it.

Full screen it.. watch the cross hair it follows my body.. its very subtle but you can see it moving when it should be motionless.

I did the first time. Yeah, the reticule movement is weird, almost mechanical, instead of flowing (like a hand on a mouse), but sometimes players are a bit jerky. You think he hacked in an aim assist? It's possible, I suppose, but impossible to tell from that, IMO.

Not sure if he was hacking or not, but its the first time with killcam so maybe its a regular thing(the movement) i suppose if I see it again then fine.. not really bothered just found it interesting.

I think it was a cheat.

Tried a few matches on the new map, it really is fricking huge. I feel like I'm never ready when the shit goes down, but that's mostly because I haven't played it a thousand times like the original I guess. Vaulting is mint.

DL'd the test server,

its fun....but the rubber banding and delay on picking up items is fucking brutally frustrating

new map is outrageously huge....landed in the major city with what appeared to be the entire fucking game, didnt see anybody.
30 minutes later we won, after engaging with one other team....it was fucking baffling

Its hardcore boring once you get passed the new buildings/look etc etc

It's supposedly around the same size, but it feels bigger because you can go on more of the map. There's less bottlenecking. Erangel forced conflicts more - smaller towns with fewer buildings, the river+bridges, etc. Here, you can get in really cool, bloody running gunfights in towns, but you can also avoid them because the building layouts + vaulting can make it easier to avoid other players.

just had a group of chinese in NA server teamkill me after i drove our car off a cliff accidentally

so i put my mic to always on and blasted Yodelling for 10 hours on youtube into their ears

they came in second, and i consider it a crown achievment of my PUBG career

Test realm desert map patch is fucking amazing. Only problem is rubber banding. When not rubber banding game is smooth as fuck, map is sick (found the 2 school like drop points already for early action - hacienda is one, a big mansion next to san martin, place is fucking sick. Other one is... i forget name but its an arena with a wrestling ring in the middle, a lil to south of hacienda, really wicked). The architecture is amazing each area feels like a high quality cs map. The vaulting works great as well.

Not sure why they didnt take out the bomb zones its such a dumb rng feature, theres enough rng with safe zone placement already.

Im very impressed with new test realm patch!

Pecado is the name. Pecado and hacienda, awesome looking areas, lots of ppl, lots of gear. Good drop spots if u like early action

they need to lower the shotgun spawn rates and the win94 spawn rates though

map is so huge that close quarters skirmishes feel few and far between to warrant keeping one in inventory....but sometimes thats literally ALL you can find.

I fucking love being able to talk in a spanish/mexican accent when describing the cities and stuff....just too funny

Erangel map sort of has a "russia/siberia" feel to it but not as much as it would like you to think...
Miramar DEFINITELY feels as described though

Map is gonna take alot of getting use to. On the old map I was winning every 4 to 5 rounds I played and now i'm lucky to get top 5 every 10th round.

AKM was my go to gun but they nerf'd the shit out of it with the latest patch (basically my go to gun for over 200 hours of playtime is essentially worthless now).

Old map forced more medium to short range conflicts (smaller towns, rivers, bridges) which is where i focused my time/skills on.

New map favors long range which you didn't need much of on the old map (last couple of circles charging trees/rocks for cover or prone crawling in vegetation negated most users that had long range weapons).

It's almost done installing on Xbone for me. I'm going to dive in tomorrow. I'm hoping I like it more than Fortnite since it's $30 and Fortnite is free.
