Rumored Pereira vs Chimaev

If true....at least he finally gets his long deserved title shot. Hopefully he goes back down and takes the MW belt as well.

How funny that people were bitching about "he needs to do more to earn his WW title shot." And then... "he needs to prove himself at MW before a title shot." And then... "LHW title shot? Fuck yes!!!"

But I thought the UFC is protecting Pereira from wrestlers and that he’s ducking Ankalaev because of his wrestling threat? Khamzat is the same which makes no sense ignoring Ankalaev then.

Poatan thinks he'll have a big size advantage over Khamzat, compared to Ank, which will be the difference, to him.

I don't think there is any truth to this rumor.

Pereria is the UFC's golden child right now. They aren't going to risk him in style match up that won't be very good for Pereria on top of doing it with a guy they can barely get in the cage once a year. Why do you think Dana was so against Jones vs Pereria right now?

They want to keep Pereria at the top as long as they can. Though if Jones beats Tom, I do see the UFC making Jones vs Pereria. Which is fine, if he loses at least he did it at HW and can still go back to LHW and dominate.
 
Alex is too big not sure this khamzat accepts tbh he does a lot of talking. Impressed with his last performance for sure I couldn’t believe he actually came out.
 
Doesnt seem like a good business move from UFC to have their two biggest cash cows go at each other

Thought they would like to milk Pereira a little more
 
Bogus instagram accounts just put 2 pictures together and people lose their minds. This isn’t a rumour this is lame clickbait.
 
Alex Pereria better move into his buddy Jose Aldos house for a few months to learn TDD.

This is why I think its good shot it's Pereria vs Bones at LHW. Bones final fight if he wins goung out as champ of lhw which he ruled for better part a decade. Pereria loses its no harm as it's to GOAT Jones also sets up Pereria vs Ank for vacant belt after. Dana said Bones vs Aspinal - we know he always lies to deflect.

Or Bones is retired already and it's Pereria vs Aspinal at HW.


The Khamzat fight is possible though as it's a mega fight. I think its the 3rd most likely not 1st
