I had it 3-2 Poatan. Apparently completely nullified your opponents wrestling by stuffing 100% of takedowns means nothing, but holding someone against the cage after a failed takedown does.
Ank didn't much better on the feet than I thought he would, and Poatan did better grappling than most thought he would, including a trip takedown to close out a round.
Ank had two or maybe three meaningful shots in the fight, but it is what it is when you leave it in the hands of never trained judges.
5? you think so? I def didn't see it that way.Ank won 2,3,4,5.
Beautiful picture. Thanks for the post.42.2 Delusional Sherdogers. lol

Absolutely enjoyed it.They both lost. So did the fans.
ThisTo me, Alex took it at the last round, but there's argument to be made that Ankalaev was 3-1.
I don’t think there’s much of a case for Alex winning Rd 3. All the most telling shots were Ank’s, and Ank was the aggressor. Alex even got hurt by a jab lol.5? you think so? I def didn't see it that way.
was a toss up fight. round 3 could easily have gone either way imo.
Best post so far. Either father time has deteriorated his reflexes just enough, or being pushed backwards made it too difficult - but Perreria could not pull the trigger. At this point I think Ank is just a stylistic bad match up combined with father time setting in. I thought reflexes looked off in the Roundtree fight but tonight proved it was legitimate issue that probably does not improve.I had Ankalaev winning, with him also having the best moment of the fight. Surprised he adjusted so well to leg kicks.
Pereira has slowed down due to age but tonight he was really unable to pull the trigger. He barely even tried with his punches which is a shame, because when he looks back at this fight he will see how much he could have been in control.
I hope a rematch happens because he can win this fight if he's not so worried about the TD's when they're in the center. Let those hands go.
Good that you mentioned the Roundtree fight because he was certainly having the same sort of issues pulling the trigger there untill the last round.Best post so far. Dude, completely controlling someone in a clinch grappling situation is the same as controlling them in the ground. Use some brain cells and you’ll see there is no planet where Alex won that fightI had it 3-2 Poatan. The press is bias too of course. These are the same guys who try and get in the UFC’s good side. And the UfC lets them control fighter rankinfs3-2 Ank.
A Pereira win wouldn’t have been that far fetched tbh.
The press scores were 11 for Ank, 9 for Pereira and a draw.

you cant call it stalling if you're getting punchedclose fight
Ank did much better on the feet than expected, but there was perhaps a lot of stalling too.
I gave it to Alex 3-2
But it could have gone either way
What say you SherBro?
There’s a reason the ref broke it up.you cant call it stalling if you're getting punched
