I'll be 27 in a few months so I dont think anything is going to suddenly change with out some kind of chemical assistance.

I have very high T so that is not the cause. I wonder if doing a super high cycle of test would somehow get my beard going? I'm going to look into that or rogaine. I just dont want get some kind of weird side effect where I grow a beard but the hair on my head falls out. I have amazing hair
My beard growing skills didn't really kick in until like 29.

You've inspired me ts. I trimmed a few patches into my mind beard today and trimmed it all uneven. Hopefully it'll catch on.

a lot of these guys are insecure saying things like if you cant grow a full beard kill yourself its because that is all they got many of them look like shit but they try to focus on what they have either full head of hair or full beard.

Most chicks dont care, but these guys telling men how they should look is like the men who watched Man show and wore hotrod flame shirts like Guy Fieri.
I can grow a full beard (full head of hair too, thanks to my pops!), but i keep it trimmed with a #2 clipper on the guard. I shave the neck and the upper cheek area.

This dude at a barbershop said i should grow a real beard. I said dude, it is a real beard. I just keep it trimmed.

Shaving sucks ass, so I don’t blame someone for having a patchy beard. It is funny when people with patchy beards are in denial about it though.

I didnt start growing thick facial hair until I hit 29 as well.

Weird, I could barely grow any facial hair in high school and then toward my late 20s I finally started getting thick facial hair.

now I can grow a thick ass beard.

Lol. I occasionally get like that and here’s why. I don’t need to shave every day, therefore it doesn’t become a habit. I should shave every three days or so, but I usually forget. So, sometimes, I forget for like two weeks and I get a shitty beard.

I don’t think it looks good, but I also don’t really give a shit. I get around to shaving it as soon as it becomes itchy.

29 seems late for thick facial hair to start growing.

did you guys get used to the idea that you were not going to have thick facial hair until then?

I think I'll timestamp a pic of my beard with a notecard with Happy Man and date. Post it here when I can. I like mine. Its what a beard should be.

True story, I got into a legit fight at a work outing playing sand volleyball. The argument was about scraggly ass beards. My tab was over 200 bucks, since i blacked out a good chunk of everything I was not aware of the impending credit card doom. I was dead certain I was losing my job, but it wasn't even really talked about.

My beard is more legit tham general longstreets from the movie Gettysburg

Didn't really care, in fact I miss my smooth baby face, shaving is a pain in the ass

I cant shave to the skin anymore because Im scared of getting ingrown hairs and razor bumps being a person of color those things can turn into keloid scarring.

So I just use one of these razors and leave a bit of stubble no ingrown hairs anymore or bumps.

Patchy beard is the new manlet. Should be good for a couple hundred threads.

I would love to be able to rock the full stubble beard just once in my life

but alas I have to accept it is just not going to happen.

And yet I do rock a full Van Dyke

which most people wrongly call a goatee. This is a goatee. A goatee does not include the moustache.

Have you seen the bevel razor at Target? It was specifically design for the athletic and explosive indivual such as yourself.

I might end up getting one, just because i think the actual razor looks kind of cool.

but seriously lol at paying for a supp for a beard.

hair growth on the face, arms, legs, chest and tummy and back with men, you either got it or you dont (each bodypart seperate though not all lumped into a yes/no situation).

Idk man I have seen a lot of progress logs and videos from people with really shitty facial hair developing full thick beards from months of minoxidil use. Seems like a worthwhile thing to try for any brah with shitty facial hair. Having white trash facial hair is really confidence killing for a lot of men.

do you use minoxidil? or are you interested in using it?

i believe in you have what you are given genetically and you dont modify it.

i tend to scoff at people that get body augmentations for cosmetic reasons, like, cmon you be you dont change.

You seem to be equating minoxidil on the beard to a beard transplant, which it isn't. I agree, getting cosmetic surgery like a hair transplant or a beard transplant is silly. But minoxidil on the face just activates dormant hair follicles. If you lack the genes to grow full facial hair minoxidil won't work for you. It just brings out your genetic potential.

I've used minox on the face before, but not long enough to see any results. Most need to apply twice a day for 6 months to see anything happen.
