People actually criticize Jones’ record and ignore Aspinall’s weak competition?

Not a totally unfair point, but it is hardly Aspinall's fault that Heavyweight is basically trash at the moment, and has been for a while. It's a historically top-heavy division.
Totally agree. And heaven forbid that Tylenolaspirin climbs the ranks, takes on all comers, and fights the top of the division (lol including defending his interim "championship" belt"). What a duck, and what shit competition ;)
The "champ" Jones is defending his belt, meanwhile, against the non-interim-champ. . . for some reason.
Jones haters don't hate Jones or his fighting (eye pokes excluded), they hate his doping antics and his fake behavior, as well as his awful behavior. And I don't hear anyone flexing Tom's resume (although it's obviously solid). It's just that he earned a shot, has the interim belt, and is STILL not allowed to fight "the champ". That's BS any way you slice it unless you're a hypocrite.

Thats why all these Neanderthals say " bro he beat 4 or 5 of the top 10" they dont list the names, because theyre no better than the arlovski or Sylvia level of competition.

Its trash and they know it's trash!

These are the same people who would be impressed with a nice record, but then realized, it is comprised up of all cans.

Have you been watching his fights or just looking at fight finder?

He's not just beating these guys, he's absolutely running through the whole division in no time at all.

Well i go by who he does it against. None of them are on jones level in ant regard. Now if gane were champ, i would think aspinal vs those guys is more on his level

He's beaten 5 of the top ten in the first round. His record at HW is far better than Jon's. These Jones fans are just getting ridiculous
Lol lets list those names bud. Then youll know why no one would care. You have to say "5 of the top 10" to make it seem more impressive than if you would say who they are, and we go off those guys vs Jons level

We're talking about HW, correct? Aspinall has a way better and lengthier HW resume than Jones.

So what are we even talking about here?

Jones handpicks his opponents and looks for easy fights (42-year old retired Stipe?!); Aspinall is willing to fight Jon Jones and anyone as long as it gets him the non-interim belt.

Not so difficult to comprehend.

I find it insane that Aspinall fans keep pointing out that Jones got controversial decisions over Reyes and Santos. Maybe the decisions were suspect, but the fights were close and Jones basically ended both Reyes’ and Santos’ careers, as evidenced by their declines afterwards. Plus, beyond those two decisions, Jones has a strong record. Let’s compare to Aspinall’s record:

1. Blaydes 2 - This guy gets knocked out every time he gets a big fight. Tom is 1-1 with Blaydes.
2. Pavlovich - just got exposed and pieced up by Volkov.
3. Marcin Tybura - this guy just isn’t very good. Career journeyman.
4. Blaydes 1 - Leg kicked Tom for the win via knee injury
5. Volkov - probaby Tom’s best win. Volkov is consisting on the top 10, but doesn’t consistently perform.
6. Spivac - Like tubura, this guy isn’t great
7. Arlovski - don’t think this needs explanation
8. Alan Badout - who the fook is this guy?
9. Jake Collier - same as above
10+ all nobodies

And everyone is 100% sure he would destroy Jones. What am I missing?
I would honestly like to see how Jon would deal with Blaydes and Volkov, seriously.

Jones gets to take credit for Reyes' downfall? Santos' legs exploding is one thing, but Reyes wasn't wrecked by Jon at all. If he was mentally destroyed, then the judges did that to him more than anyone.

Jones crushed him mentally then Jiri buried his chin

yeah he beat everybody and now deseves to fight for the belt, if Jones doesn't want to fight, just vacate lol it's not that deep

Tom walked through competition.
<BC1>
Let's not reframe it.

It all comes down to Aspinall's TDD. If Jones can't take him down he's getting absolutely wrecked by Tom.
The people like you who pretend Jon hasn’t been one of the best strikers in the UFC for a decade are hilarious.

By their logic Jon has beat 2 of the top 10 too

And Jon fought a bunch of old midgets all his career, when real competition showed-up he quit

I guess you want Tom fight someone outside the top-10 next? or rematch Pavlo? or beat up Gane in 1 minute?
What should he do in your opinion? leave the UFC and fight Francis for the real belt?

Cause normally you beat great competition before the champion too…?
He beat everyone UFC put in front of him with ease including Pavlovic who was considered a killer at the time. HW is a weak division but that's not Aspinall's fault.

PED cheap and shitty person.. Don't give a fuck about his record
