People mindgame themselves into thinking that sitting on their ass for 4 years and then putting a piece of a paper in a box, voting for the turd they hate the least, means that they've done something meaningful. That's not an action, it's pure passivity.
Trump has some dark characters behind him, especially Peter Thiel, co-founder of Palantir. Palantir is a data mining firm involved in a lot of dark stuff. Their AI software Lavender is used to autonomously kill civilians in Gaza. Gaza is being used a test terrain for a lot of military tech. Palantir was involved in creating a public health surveillance infrastructure during Covid named Tiberius. Their predictive policing software (pre-crime analysis) is also deployed in many police departments (NYPD, LAPD, Chicago PD and others). Iraq was used a test-bed for it. The firm is also involved in capturing a lot of invasive data on illegal immigrants, notably biometrics for potential digital ID use. The long and the short of it is that the elites behind Trump are not good guys at all and Trump is very likely to attempt implementing some nasty stuff during his mandate.
If you want to retain your freedoms, constant vigilance and active engagement is necessary. Don't think that voting and then sitting on your ass, letting a "hero" take the wheel, is sufficient. I expect lefties to be suspicious, but that also means you conservatives have to be on your guard as well.
