I insisted on leaving. They wanted me to stay overnight. I told them I could come back and do everything they wanted.

It was just too much today. I said I'm not worried, but I would be stupid to ignore the fact that my body just don't cooperate as it used too.

I should probably be on disability, but I'm too stubborn to give up now

Do you have a blood pressure monitor at home? I’d recommend recording your readings twice a day for a few days. See what it’s like.

Blood pressure is important fam. Can cause strokes and heart problems if you don’t keep it under control. Stay safe pls, we all love you on here

I don't, no. But I got some blood pressure medicine that I'm gonna start taking. I have had high blood pressure for a while now. I'm sure the hospiral or my Doc will be in touch if they discover any anomalies.

Think I gave 5 blood tests throughout the day

Look into getting one that had good reviews online, you can get a decent one for £25+ or so. The ones by a company called “Omron” are pretty reliable and affordable. Assume they’ve started you on something like ramipril, or the equivalent of it there. Usually most people are good with it but make sure you drink plenty of water as it can affect your kidneys. I’d recommend checking your BP whilst you’re on the meds. They will need to adjust the dose of the meds accordingly. Assume the bloods will come back okay, but it’s important just to rule things out that might be causing it. Have you been feeling more stressed more recently? That can cause it too, also thyroid issues.
