LW- Alejandro Luna vs Stephen Ormond

nice ESPN FNF type fight
We get another one next week.

Luna is a good looking prospect that will add more depth to the LW division.
In a couple years it might rival WW as the best division in Boxing.

The guy Luna is fighting came 5 lbs heavy, had 4 hours to lose the weight, and came back another 5 lbs heavier.

Not sure if the fight is still on

According to Big D, the Luna fight is off

Denis Douglin: "This fight is my last shot at making it to the top."

His record makes him seem like a can crusher. He only beats guys with bad records, and loses to guys with good records. He won his last three fights, but his opponents had records of 6-18, 20-31-3, and 18-15-4, respectively.

I assume Benavidez is using this fight to get more experience under his belt before he faces someone who can test him.

The current betting line on Benavidez and Douglin:

5dimes: -2500 vs. +1400
Bookmaker: -1800 vs. +1000
Pinnacle: -4000 vs. +1769

Damn, 144 catchweight.

Naim Nelson late replacement for Luna.

Benavidez is going to be scary when he gets his man body.

Rd 1- 10-9 Luna
Good action.

Ive got David Benavidez by late TKO. Love PBC and glad its always on.

10-9 Luna.. His bodywork took it.

Close.

Rd 2- 10-9 Luna
Working the body.

Is somebody gonna use a jab?

20-18 Luna.. Imposed himself to a degree.

Clear

Pure degen play hoping for underdog upset chaos, but I put $25 on Douglin at +1200 to win $300.

Rd 3- 10-9 Luna
Good inside fighting by both.
