It was an absurd booking to begin with. Going from guys like Saaiman, and Ghemmouri to Barcelos is one of the larger jumps in competition you’ll see.

I picked Barcelos by decision and anyone who knows anything about either fighter should have known him being a -1050 favorite was insane and this outcome isn’t all that surprising.

Saaiman is a legit prospect and probably beats Barcelos.

I think Talbott can still grow a little bit. He is training in one of the smaller gyms in Vegas. He isn't going to change much in terms of his style but at least he can get better training partners and a better game plan.

He didn't improve his wrestling and, given that he comes from a small gym, I am not sure he's equipped to improve in MMA wrestling
He should give a try to Team Alpha Male, MMA Lab or Cejudo's gym to learn to wrestle and grapple with small dudes

if you aren't an idiot its pretty easy to tell he looked good considering who he was fighting. Guy has plenty of time to improve. Just because you aren't a contender right out of the gate doesn't mean you are incapable of reaching that level.
