You keep saying apes. A significant percentage of people who have sightings say they are not apes but a kind of person. In any case when discussing the viability of these beings being able to hide from humans the reportedly high degree of intelligence combined with vastly superior senses and reported nocturnal activity must be taken into account if we are being honest.

Never understood the thought that you can just prance into the woods and find whatever animal you want.

Dumb ass deer can still easily avoid humans. If not hunters wouldn't need treestands, deer piss and deer calls. Youd just walk with your rifle and shoot one. Then we move on to bear, even better than deer at avoiding humans, to the point a bear could be right next to you and you might not know it.


Snow leapords I'm pretty sure they started using special cameras in order to detect them because they are very hard for humans to see. From most of the decent bigfoot videos I've seen they seem to blend in with the forest very well.

Now take into account what you said about their intelligence and you start to realize that expecting to find one so easily is pretty dumb.

I wouldn't say that assuming an ape is intelligent is speculation id call it very likely since every great ape we know of is.

I wouldn't compare it to wondering if bigfoot tucks in his shirt or not.
