i dont think it seems like that man. it is very easy if one is being open minded about the topic and listens to some of the credible people involved in the field to be reasonably certain that they are still out there. that's my position at least. im agnostic in the sense that i cant be certain, but i cannot dismiss the kind of extremely credible research that is available nor the many sightings from people i respect and believe.

The thing is this - every year we send out search teams for lost hikers who presumedly want to be located, we know their whereabouts, yet we find nothing. Couple that with the idea that there are fewer people in the bush now as opposed to just a few hundred years ago and it wouldn't surprise me that we can't find a sparse population of intelligent animals that don't want to be found. I've spent hundreds of hours in the bush just an hour outside of Calgary and you can go all day without seeing anyone else. We're not exactly a hunter gatherer society anymore and most people don't go 10 from a paved road.

No, the Congo isn't America, but it does have some challenging geography and isn't a densely populated as Europe. Scientists didn't believe Congo locals just as they don't listen to the First Nation's folks who think Sasquatch is real.

Does that mean there's a Bigfoot? I want to believe, but just don't.

we have not really looked though. thousands of square miles with a being purported to be highly intelligent, inherently secretive with a mandate to avoid human contact with superior physical capabilities and is nocturnal?

if such a being exists it would easily avoid detection by humans except when it doesn't and that would account for the sightings so many extremely credible and highly capable woodsman, hunters , hunting guides and survivalists report.

Nothing in that link discernably confirms the footage is proven fake? Not from what can see? The links just go to an old website?

I have been looking into this the past couple of days; it really is an interesting one. I'm a sceptic for everything in life as some of you know on here. I don't believe in aliens, loch ness, spirits etc. But this footage is odd...

This thing moves odd and looks odd, now can it be a man in a suit? Of course but in 1968? I mean it would be the greatest costume ever made for that time period... Making the best of Hollywood and designers look like amateurs. It's weird.

But then I say, how could we not have found something by now? We surely would have? Where could these things be hiding?

I'm torn on the subject tbh
