International Pakistan plans to expel 3 million Afghans from the country this year

The same Pakistan that Bin laden hid out in for years?

I'm shocked. Shocked!

Well, not that shocked.

There is nothing pretentious about what I said. I made an observation about what was happening in this thread.

Want me to point out something pretentious though? An assclown coming along to let everyone know that talking about things we have no control over doesn’t help anyone. You just figure that one out? Did you just come into a political discourse room and point out the obvious? Yea yes you did.

Do you go into threads and make comments about things that don’t change the outcome of anything? Yes yes you do. So who exactly is pretentious again?
You

According to the article many of the refugees are what the Taliban would perceive as US collaborators and they'll get shot if they return. Stay or go, there's no winning for them either way.

I'm sure that when they started working in collaboration with the US or US NGOs in some capacity they collectively had the thought "Hey... Is this a good idea?" Well the results are in: it wasn't. The US gov. dropped them like a bad habit. Seems like collaborating was only worth it to the extent that you were so closely involved that you were guaranteed a visa, something like a translator. If you were a teacher working for an American NGO running a girls' school, people don't feel indebted enough to you to save you. And the Taliban don't care that you were small potatoes, they want you dead anyway.

Says the guy that uses their suffering as a prop to throw shade at the other side.
More like pointing out a fact. Sorry if you feel shame in yourself but you’re trying to shoot the messenger champ

Pointing out something people are actively doing is not “throwing shade” lol

The only fact here is that Muslims are throwing out other Muslims, but you ignore that.

And that’s why we should dance on the refugees graves?

Good one champ
Pointing out the irony is not dancing on their graves, again how exactly do you feel about the ones actually doing the harm?

How do you think I feel about it? You need your hand held to get to that conclusion on your own?

There’s definitely people in here that were delighting in it. Like you read the thread right?

Ya I read the thread, not one word from you condemning the people actually doing the expelling. Maybe your programming doesn't allow that action?

Pakistan is essentially ran by the gangster generals. There were a couple of openings where it could have maybe became some sort of liberal democracy with Bhutto and maybe if Jinnah didn't fall ill so early.

Bhutto represented the same kind of dynastical politics, cronyism and corruption that had prevailed in Pakistan for decades, albeit perhaps with a slightly less harsh face. The Western media represented her as this lovely 'liberal'/moderniser because she was secular and telegenic and western-educated but via the PPP she was exploiting the same voting-blocs with the same tactics that they ever used.

her husband wasn't known as 'Mr 10%' for nothing. her very first cabinet appointed both her mother and he father-in-law. etc etc etc. she was a western media wetdream that would have fallen some way short of the vinegar strokes.

Yeah, she was a corrupt force, no doubt. I still think she could have changed things. I have mixed feelings on Imran Khan. I think he genuinely wanted to do the right things but I don't think he has the wits to do it.

I also agree with you on Zardari lol
