People are saying Sound Garden lol they aren't even active.
"The mother of stupidity is always pregnant".People were saying Tool before the show...people are stupid.
Priest seemed very sorry they couldn't be there, and even released a War Pigs cover as their tribute to the Almighty Black Sabbath.
Wish Sab or somebody would've performed "Black Sabbath", looking back at the show that was the biggest song missing. Needed the Master Riff
They're a bunch of Tools imhoPeople were saying Tool before the show...people are stupid.
Tom Morello said this show was supposed to be a tribute to Metal's history, but then having Billy Corgan and Guns n Roses and other rock people, and not Judas Priest or Iron Maiden or members of Motorhead or any other crucial metal band that should be on a metal history show, was just weird.Yeah, I'm not a fan of his vocals in general. His style/voice isn't very suitable for covering metal especially. I think he's a pretty good musician and songwriter, just not a great singer.
When he sang Breaking the Law, I thought, eh, but I didn't care that much since I think it's probably the most overrated Priest song. But then he started singing Snowblind, which is one of my fave Sabbath songs, and I thought "ah, damn it..."
Speaking of which, Priest really should have been there.
The original lineup of Motorhead are all deceased. Priest is on tour.Tom Morello said this show was supposed to be a tribute to Metal's history, but then having Billy Corgan and Guns n Roses and other rock people, and not Judas Priest or Iron Maiden or members of Motorhead or any other crucial metal band that should be on a metal history show, was just weird.
I think it's Sharon, she has so many grudges with so many bands and musicians, that she just decided who she wanted to be there.
They can never get enough credit. While everyone's hailing Sabbath and celebrating their bow out, it's also true that the underground legacy of their music was totally overlooked by fans and critics alike !!
