Metal/Rock/Industrial Ozzy Osbourne

Yeah, I'm not a fan of his vocals in general. His style/voice isn't very suitable for covering metal especially. I think he's a pretty good musician and songwriter, just not a great singer.

When he sang Breaking the Law, I thought, eh, but I didn't care that much since I think it's probably the most overrated Priest song. But then he started singing Snowblind, which is one of my fave Sabbath songs, and I thought "ah, damn it..."

Speaking of which, Priest really should have been there.
I def wouldn't think of him to be suitable to do these kinda songs, yeah.

His stuff is good for his own bands.

Breaking the law is the shit .

Popular does not mean overrated.

Iron man is popular, not overrated

And these songs cannot be overplayed either.

They are always, the shit

I never said it was bad, I just don't care for it that much. They have much better songs. Iron Man is a completely different story.

I would have also liked for some non-Ozzy material covers, but that was never going to happen.

If I had to find someone to do Dio justice and my life depended on it...

Geoff Tate (saw him.a year or two ago and his voice is back...still a diva though) , Rob Halford (because he can do what he want), Dickenson is fading so probably not....

Dark horse candidate:
Lizzy Hale

Yeah I gotta admit that even though corgan's nasally voice can annoy me, the band as a whole, him included, are very talented musicians and songwriters.
lol noob Billy writes 99% of SP music James Iha has a writing credit on like 5 songs throughout the whole discography and mostly co-witing credits too. They aren't great songwriters Billy is.

I always thought he'd talk like he sings hahah but he actually got a deep masculine voice in normal life hahahahah
Corgan solo Is crap. Smashing Pumpkins were something totally different !!!! :):)

They unfortunately got double booked.

Sharon called Rob asking him to please join but he had already been booked for the Scorpions. Scorpions had fully sold out a soccer stadium in their hometown for a 60th anniversary show (sold out in mere minutes) so Priest couldn't back out of that.

Alice Cooper was also same situation, been invited but had already committed to the Scorpions show.

Looks like it was Motley Crue that Sharon kicked off the bill. Didn't want to hear Vince's shitty fucking vocals. lmao
If there is no sleazy money thing behind it all, I'd say Sharon made a bad move this time !!! 😕

Priest seemed very sorry they couldn't be there, and even released a War Pigs cover as their tribute to the Almighty Black Sabbath.

Wish Sab or somebody would've performed "Black Sabbath", looking back at the show that was the biggest song missing. Needed the Master Riff

It was about money
So it was Crue's manager that sparked the problem coz they wanted to get paid for appearing ? In any case, Sharon stated she would reveal which band it was AFTER the event. No official statement as yet.
