Already out on the high seas.

Apparently, Brian Wilson died last month. I don't remember seeing near as much about it.

Funny enough this didn't hit me all when I first heart about it. I just sort of was like "meh". Then I went back and started watching The Osbournes and listening to some of his songs and man..... I'm starting to miss him. I loved that TV show back in the day.

By all accounts Ozzy would have rather died at 71 than live 5 years being ravaged by Parkinsons. His wife said the last 5 years of his life were "absolute hell."
Jesus... you must be really fun at parties.

I loved Ozzy, he had some great songs. I'm lucky enough to have seen him one time, 2006 or 2007. It was Ozzfest, the year that he performed on the second stage (parking lot) during the day. My buddy and I got there at 8 AM and stayed until midnight when it ended. Ozzy played mid day on the parking lot stage. It was over 100 that day, I got the worst sunburn of my life. For Ozzy, we got up close to the stage and when he came out, he had a fire hose and he started spraying the crowd. I got soaked and I loved it, something I'll never forget.

From year dot till probably 8 years old every Sunday morning was Sabbath, Deep Purple, Zep and Iron Butterfly. After church, even.

I wasn't a massive fan but we wouldn't have half the metal I adore without him.
