He would be a favorite if it wasn't for his ( their ? ) chin ( s )...
I bet the odds will level out to just about even odds come fight time. Stipe has the new champ "I KO'd Werdum in a minute" aura right now. As the date draws closer, so will the odds.
The thing is Reem can kick and Stipe can't, so Stipe is going to have to push the pace at least some of the time, he won't be able to point-fight on the edge of range.
Because Stipe is better than Overeem and will prove it. Via TKO.
I root for Alistair but agree with odds
Alistair hasn't good chin, good cardio and Miocic still has excellent takedowns.
Stipe brings more problems to Alistair than JDS
+130 to -160 is actually pretty even odds. Basically a 50/50 fight.
I hope people keep betting on Stipe so I can cash in later on.
Years? There's been several better matchups than this. Stipe is barely even a draw or a popular fighter.
You're spot on about Cruz, I followed that line religiously until I thought I got him at the best odds possible. Knew he'd win.Ok, I'm pretty sure in the opening bets tho it was about even, and I think Cruz might have been favored.. I didn't know about Lawler
Overeem has won the lottery when it comes to challenging titleholders.
Stipe is his best opportunity for capturing a title.
Can anyone name a fight where the champ was an underdog? Other than gsp-serra 2 and vitor-randy 3???? Just curious what some others may be
