You make good points, one of my closest friends is from Romania. She moved to Holland because the wages in Romania are pretty bad. It definitely seems to be a country on the decline as far as standard of living is concerned. Similar to Hungary, and like Hungary, it used to be a much better place to live decades ago. Kids are just too expensive these days, and if one is barely getting by as it is having a kid or two just seems like a bad idea.
Which is kind of a shame since Romanian women are bloody gorgeous.
