It's takes less than $1000 to start a hot sauce company, the most expensive part is exposure and advertising, which comes by easier if you are a famous fighter with or without wins over Conor.
Most fighters don't go into business because they usually aren't good businessmen, which is why they kick people in the head for a living.

This is such a retarded take. Nate was a fan favorite since the Ultimate fighter, fought for the title, had epic moments inside and outside the octagon before McGregor even joined the UFC.

Khabib was an undefeated champ, seen as one of, if not THE best of all time way before he faced McGregor.

Poirier fought McGregor the first time, didn’t get any fame. He started to really get fame when he went up and put up many great performances even getting a title.

Those 3 guys were already more than well established and had a big fan base, fame and money before facing McGregor…

Nate was locked into a shitty contract with his boss telling him he didn't move the needle before the Conor win. He was fighting for 20k and that Conor payday was the biggest of his career and his salary rose massively after that. And of course Poirier didn't get any fame from losing his first fight to Conor, what a strange thing to bring up. Khabib is the only one who was even close to being the A side as the sitting champion and he still benefitted from the Conor fight. It was the most high profile fight of his career, most PPV buys, most iconic fight, etc. Thats when he became a superstar. Very weak attempt to downplay Conor's influence.

Bro, the 3 either fought for a belt or won the belt before beating the sh** out of Conor lol. Their lives didn't get changed bc of that, ofc it helps, but they were all already known top fighters for years before even facing Conor.
