Yes he does he spends more time as champion he gets to promote himself as a champion longer if Cyril has to fight someone else it creates an opportunity for him to get out of fighting Cyril because I do not believe he wants to fight Cyril again. This is because I believe Tom knows he needs more time before he can win that fight.

People chase fame for seriously dumb reasons. Being confident is not enough to save your career. Him being right, maybe, but their are so many people turned off by such behavior that it might. However, it could be offset those who seek him out for bad behavior. Either way, I still think it is both stupid and unprofessional. Well, if he's having this lasik surgery and then trying to pass it off as having something to do with his supposedly injured eyes, then it's sorta hard to believe anything he says.

Gotta hand it to Tom, it has been some of the best comedy ever. He should've just released zero details or done it very selectively, but he has buffoonishly released or revealed details that have backfired and worked AGAINST his case. You would think he'd have someone that could act like his press secretary, his agent or lawyer or something.

Are you confusing evidence with proof? Tom's own picture of himself under a laser machine is certainly evidence since Brown's syndrome surgery isn't done with lasers. Tom's own picture of his bloody red eyes is evidence as surgery for Brown's tends to lead to red and irritated eyes but much less so than for LASIK. The fact Tom's team didn't come out and tell people it was surgery to release the tendons for Brown's syndrome is also evidence. Again, Brown's surgery is not done with lasers. None of that is proof but it's quite a bit of evidence.

Gane has gotten tons of hate. You must be pretty selective in what you're reading. Gane got hate for fouling and has been labeled a serial cheater over and over. If Tom had just shut the fuck up and just said he'd be back when he was healed up, I doubt anyone would have cared. It's his youtube docs that should be labeled "Tom Aspinall, my long, long fight against blindness" that have caused most of the hate.
